So no reason ? That explains why your struggling to account for it . Where as from our vantage there is purpose and reason for Predestination and Election . We are explaining why Paul is saying what he is saying . There is something Paul wants them to know and its not arbitrary .Being told you are predestined to the Adoption is the basis for eternal security. The Holy Spirit guarantee s this by the sealing until the day of redemption. There is no assurance ultimately outside of this.

Salvation is a response to faith/belief. God calls everyone so your point does not hold to anything I have stated.

all of you people and your war against Calvin have you totally blind to what anyone says you attack anyone who even in your view hints if any type of possible Calvinistic believe
