By the law is the knowledge of sin (Romans 3:20) and sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4).

Jesus came to save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21) and to redeem us from all iniquity (Titus 2:14).
By the law is the knowledge of sin (Romans 3:20) and sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4).

“Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held;

that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:4-6‬ ‭

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭KJV‬‬
can’t serve by anything Moses said have to come to Jesus

Prove that he attacked any of you. I did not see that.
He accused me of saying you teach justification by the law

I never said or even accused you of that

He slandered my. My friend..

When you slander a pwerson. You attack them.

He is wrong my friend. he lied and he is unrepentant, he could not even show the post where I accused you of saying we are justified by works, which further accused his own lies against me.

He don;t get off with just saying he is done good day.

’You don;t attack someone with a lie. Then just walk away as if nothing happened. A true believer will confess

Once again, Where did I say this

Is this how you and your buddy work? When people do not buy your stuff you just sit and falsely accuse them of nonsense?

I posted james 2 and how EVERYONE IS GUILTY OF THE LAW just by breaking 1 Sin. And your question is can no one be sanctified?

NO ONE IS SANCTIFIED BY THE LAW

WE ARE SANCTIFIED BY CHRIST

BY THE LAW IS KNOWLEDGE OF SIN. NOT THE ANSWER ON HOW TO DEFEAT SIN!
If we are sanctified does that not mean that we don't sin in the same manner that we used to?

yes, Jesus and His shed blood on the Cross is the remedy for a sinful lifestyle.

Before you have received that remedy, the law shows you that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour.

not to speak for e.g, but one beef i have is what you call yourself, then you teach justification by works.
That is not what I teach. I teach that we will do works after we have been justified.

I believe in Ephesians 2:8-9; but I keep reading and believe in what it says in verse 10.

yep

and after you have recieved jesus as savior

the law has completed it job as schoolmaster.

So lets move out of grade school and move into high school why don’t we

Sanctification is the process of become christlike.

And it is empowered by God..

by one offering he perfected forever (justified) those who are BEING SANCTIFIED.

It is Gods work in us. Not our work at the law

He did say that.

But then he keeps defending his brother. Who keeps wanting a believer who is justified by faith in christ to return to the law. Then falsly accuses people of saying his brother teaches justification by the law. Which last I saw no one has accused him of saying in any thread.
Ohhh ok, gotcha

True believer work

it is the result of salvation

they do not work to keep from losing salvation. The work because they are saved.

thats what Eph 2: 8-10 teaches.

The law is in fact a gauge by which we can measure our sanctification.

Nope

because it will give you a false reading

Because it does not show you every sin.

Again, 2 people can be doing the same morally good deed. Yet one is doing it in sin, the other is doing it in christ.

the law can not teach you this.

However, it is written on the hearts and minds of all those who are under the New Covenant (Hebrews 8:8-10, Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:7, Romans 8:4, 1 John 5:3, 2 John 1:6, Romans 13:8-10; Romans 5:5; 1 John 2:3-6).

And of course, when I refer to the law, I am referring to every moral tenet in the Old and New Testaments.

Are you of the opinion that there are sins that are not mentioned in the Bible?

If we do not continue in His goodness, we will be cut off (Romans 11:20-22).

However, if anyone is sealed by the Holy Spirit, it is a guarantee that they will continue in His goodness.

Not continuing in it, therefore, would signify that the person was never sealed.

lol. When you say law. Everyone will think you mean the law of moses.

We also know you keep saying the ten commands are a guide.

So you need to be honest.

I asked once I will ask again, What is the defenition of sin? And no, I am not lookin for transgression of the law. Teenagers sing the law is sin, but it is not the definition.

Once again, two people can do the same moral act. One in sin and one not how?

If a person was never sealed. They were never justified. They were never saved. And they were never given eternal life.

so why would you say anyone could be cut off?

Rom 11 is telling the gentile church they can be cut off as Israel was as a nation. Not induvidual believers.
