They sprinkled with water
I believe you should get a baptism in a pool. Complete immersion in water is what they did in the Bible. If you go to a Catholic Church they probably don’t do it there, but you can call a different church or ask someone at your church to see if they can give you a full water immersion baptism.

Acts 8:38,39
38 And he ordered the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water—Philip and the eunuch—and he baptized him.

39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him any longer, for he went on his way rejoicing.

You can confess sin to God and ask for forgiveness immediately upon sinning. Tell Him exactly what you did wrong and be specific. Don’t be embarrassed with God, He loves honesty even if it’s ugly.

You can talk like this for example.

“Dear Father in heaven, I want to confess my sin to You. I see I have made a terrible mistake and I will try to not do it again. Please help me not to want to sin. Thank You for the forgiveness you’ve given me through Christ’s sacrifice. Praise and glory to You God. I love You forever!. In Jesus’s name. Amen.”
I was actually taking about the holy spirit
But thank u sir I'll surely use this tip😊

I understand better now :giggle:

Just plainly ask God to send His Holy Spirit to you. Jesus said we can ask for the Holy Spirit.

Oh wow. I am also in a mostly non-Christian country, Vietnam here, but there are some churches here and any religion can be freely-practiced.

Do you have any Christian friends there in Kuwait?

If I may ask, I’m curious about how you learned about Jesus. Did someone there in Kuwait preach to you?

Were you sprinkled with water or did you go into a pool and they dunked you underwater for your baptism?
It doesn’t matter. God looks at the sincerity of our faith, not the method of baptism.

That does not matter.
Gow much water does God need to wash away sin? Best practice is dunked, but if pouring is what is available or if sprinkling is what is available then what ever, what matter is faith mingled with the Words of Jesus mingled with the water.
If you have these, faith, hope, and Love then you have the Holy Spirit.

The Bible isn’t a normal book. Yes some of the surface information can be understood by just reading the words on the pages, but if someone can’t or won’t listen to the Holy Spirit then they’ll never really be able to understand most of the Bible with any depth of understanding.

I know many people have probably heard this a million times and think they’re under some sort of blessing that makes them automatically understand the Bible, but with over 45,000 denominations and countless cults, that just isn’t the case.
Those who are not sanctified but saved (new believers) achieve an earthly understanding of Scripture. Those sanctified believers who have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit achieve a spiritual understanding of Scripture. This spiritual understanding is a deeper, more perfect understanding, and comes from the teaching of the Holy Spirit.

The Apostle Paul speaks of this.......

You think God doesn’t care about obedience to His commands as long as someone’s heart is in the “right place?” What verse do you base your doctrine off of? I tell people to be water baptized because God commands it.

Why do you say what you said?

I’m sorry I don’t mean to argue, but obedience to God actually does matter. If God commanded water baptism then we should do it, don’t you agree?

…and Yes Jesus and all of His disciples were water baptized. You and I are disciples of Jesus.

Water baptism is an outward sign of our faith. True baptism is what transpires in our heart when we place our faith in Christ.

Hello sir
Sir how can I get the holy spirit? I wanna hear him too.
You don't have to do anything initially. If you want to hear the Holy Spirit's voice, just ask the Father in heaven and He'll do the rest. He'll make sure you hear from the Spirit of Truth. (John 16:13) That is, if you're sincere and really want the truth.

I believe you do have the Holy Spirit. I don’t see a reason why you wouldn’t.

Jesus also said that we can ask for the Holy Spirit. So I think you should also ask God to send His Holy Spirit to you.l if you haven’t before.
IF you are speaking of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I would agree. However, if your are speaking of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, not so much. The indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit is given to a believer when they kneel in sincere prayer AND sanctified believers (those mature believers who already have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit) gather around the new believer and lay hands on them, and pray over them. The Apostle Paul taught this in the Book of Acts.
