You’re right I should give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you didn’t know that sprinkling with water is not the method of water baptism they used in the Bible. I’m a bit of a fundamentalist so I try to adhere as closely as I can to biblical examples, believing they shouldn’t be changed.
Here’s proof that water baptism is full immersion:
John 3:23
23And John also was baptizing in AEnon near to Salim, because
there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
Matthew 3:16
16And Jesus, when he was baptized, went
up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Acts 8:38
38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and
they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
