The natural man cannot receive the Spiritual things of God, which the Gospel is. Paul calls the Gospel Spiritual things 1 Cor 9:11

If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
:rolleyes: so now you're saying that Paul taught only the Gospel to the church at Corinth? He didn't teach them any other spiritual truths?

You really need to let go of your erroneous dogma. Quit trying to align Scripture to your dogma. You are to align your dogma to Scripture and where you are in error, let go of the error.

You have been given many, many opportunities to present Scripture in support of your claim that it is the Gospel which is the hidden wisdom referred to in 1 Cor 2:7.

The only verse you have presented is 1 Cor 2:14 and I have shown you that the context supports my claim that it is the mystery, the hidden wisdom spoken of in 1 Cor 2:7 which the natural man cannot understand.

Romans 16:25 tells us this mystery was kept secret since the world began.

Ephesians 3:9 confirms that this mystery from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God.

Colossians 1:26 states the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed.

Quit suppressing the truth in unrighteousness and believe what God has written concerning the Gospel ... which has been proclaimed throughout all generations ... and what God has written concerning the mystery, even the hidden wisdom ... which was kept secret since the world began (Rom 16:25) and from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God (Eph 3:9) and which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed (Col 1:26).

The mystery, even the hidden wisdom was hid in God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth and all that is therein.

2 Corinthians 4:4 actually proves that the Gospel is not the mystery, the hidden wisdom spoken of in 1 Cor 2:6-7 because 1 Cor 2:8 tells us that if satan had known the mystery, the hidden wisdom, he would not have crucified the Lord Jesus Christ:

1 Corinthians 2:

righteousness is imputed when a person believes:

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

No faith in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ = no righteousness ... no remission of sins that are past.

Romans 4:

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Romans 4:3 tells us righteousness is imputed when a person believes.

Romans 4:4-5 tell us faith ≠ works. So for you to continue to insist that faith is some sort of "work" on the part of man is nothing but you trying to align Scripture to your erroneous dogma.
when they were born sinners, they were born Justified and forgiven from all their sins
nope ... you were born dead in trespasses and sins, wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others just as Eph 2:1-3 tells you.

God tells us when He justifies:

Romans 4:

20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

There's Two scriptures, the Word of God, that clearly state that Justification is by the Grace of God Rom 3:24

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus
:rolleyes: brightfame52, have you ever read Romans 3:28???

Romans 3: 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

And confirmed further:

Romans 3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

And try reading Romans 3:24 in the CONTEXT in which the Author of Scripture has placed it:

Romans 3:

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Now a way that evil men deny this Spiritual Blessing in Christ Jesus is by stating or even inferring that one for whom Christ died, is not Justified before God and by God [for it is God that Justifieth Rom 8:33] before they become believers, for if we in any degree believe that or lend support to that, we deny Justification by Grace, and at the same time lend support to Justification by works !
:rolleyes: Just because I believe what God's Word states concerning justification by grace through faith (Eph 2:8) ... this does not render me "evil" ... nor does it mean that I "deny Justification by Grace" ... or that I "lend support to Justification by works !"

"The elect whom Christ died for" – I have provided Scriptural support which indicates the Lord Jesus Christ died for the world, the whole world ... that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

You reject Scripture and have provided absolutely no Scriptural support for your claim that the world, the whole world, whosoever believeth equals a subgroup of humanity which you deem to be "elect".

You suppress the truth in unrighteousness in your feeble attempts to support erroneous dogma.
Yes Christ only died for Gods elect, to say otherwise is a false gospel. Also When Christ died for Gods elect they were Justified, and Christs resurrection gave evidence of that Rom 4:25

:rolleyes: to say what is written in God's Word is not "a false gospel":

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Under your erroneous dogma, you have to add to Scripture ... words ("elect") / concepts (we "do not have to believe it, accept itor do anything but continue being ungodly sinners") ... never intended by the Author of Scripture as if God needs you to explain what He means.

Just read Scripture as written and let God work in your heart to bring understanding. The whole world is the whole world.

The sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient to cover the sins of all mankind ... each and every descendant of Adam ... whether born prior to or after the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Under your erroneous dogma, the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ was lacking ... was somehow insufficient to cover the sin of all mankind.

There is only one sin for which there is no forgiveness ... reject what God has so freely poured out ... those who suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Rom 1:18) reject God.

Excerpt from "What is the unpardonable sin / unforgivable sin?"

The only unpardonable sin today is that of continued unbelief. There is no pardon for a person who dies in his rejection of Christ. The Holy Spirit is at work in the world, convicting the unsaved of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). If a person resists that conviction and remains unrepentant, then he is choosing hell over heaven. “Without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6), and the object of faith is Jesus (Acts 16:31). There is no forgiveness for someone who dies without faith in Christ. God has provided for our salvation in His Son (John 3:16). Forgiveness is found exclusively in Jesus (John 14:6). To reject the only Savior is to be left with no means of salvation; to reject the only pardon is, obviously, unpardonable.

Again to say Christ died to save all mankind, is another gospel.

When Christ died for Gods elect they were Justified
:rolleyes: gotta burst that bubble of error you so desperately cling to, brightfame52.

All descendants of Adam (even those you claim to be "elect") are born dead in trespasses and sins and all walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.

Scripture tells us when a person is justified:

Romans 4:

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

And justification is imputed if we believe (Rom 4:24) and when we believe, therefore being justified by faith (Rom 5:1).

READ YOUR BIBLE!!!
Again, those for whom Christ died, are Justified solely by His death for them. They come to know they were Justified by His Blood Rom 5:9

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

The natural man cannot receive the Gospel, its foolishness to him 1 Cor 2:14
1 Corinthians 2:14 does not state that "the Gospel" is foolishness to the natural man. 1 Corinthians 2:14 states the mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory (1 Cor 2:7) is what is spirifually discerned (1 Cor 2:14).
Again, the natural man cannot understand the things of the Spirit of God, which the Gospel is, they are foolishness to him, they must be spiritually understood. 1 Cor 2:13-14

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Cor 1:18

18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18 agrees with what is written in Romans 1:16:

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it [the gospel] is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

1 Corinthians 1:18 and Romans 1:16 do not state that the gospel is the mystery, even the hidden wisdom spoken of in 1 Corinthians 2:7.

Quit conflating the gospel with the hidden wisdom of God.
Yes, the Gospel is foolishness to the natural man who is perishing, this agrees with 1 Cor 2:14
