I spoke to a Pentecostal pastor a few days ago. He said he was having challenges at church. He said he wanted to preach the true gospel but had no choice but to preach get rich sermons. He said his seniors informed him that according to their belief entering grace is by grace so if members are going to hell there is no point in them suffering here then in hell again afterwards. So they said he must focus his sermons on helping people get rich so that they can at least enjoy themselves before the judgement. He said if a pastor receives few offerings he is demoted and sent to work in obscure locations where his salary will be in the form of chickens and eggs at that church members give as offerings. He has children and cant afford to move them around and keep changing their schools so he just complies and preaches money sermons. He says if you tell people that someone here has money in their pocket an

He said that if you preach saying that someone here has money, and that God has shown him that if they dont leave some of the money as offering then they will forfeit the blessing he intends for them, then many people will flood to the front and leave a lot of offering. He additionally said that if he just preaches about the holy spirit and God then people wont leave much offerings then he will be demoted and sent to work in obscure locations. Its tragic.

He should leave that church. He can start a channel on YouTube and preach the true gospel on his videos. People can donate or give tithe to him (if God so leads) through that or Patreon. That's something he can do until he finds a church that will let him preach the true gospel. Or just stay with his YouTube channel.

He should also learn to trust that God will provide for him and his family. Him sticking to that awful church shows that doesn't trust Him.

A pastor (poimen) means 'shepherd', which is synonymous with elder, bishop, overseer, and not the preacher or minister although a pastor could have a dual role as also being a preacher or minister.

I suppose if you really want to know, you could write and ask him. Of course, he may not give the
exact figure, either. So you would really be taking a chance to put that kind of effort in, for him to
say, oh, it is around about fifteen million or so, give or take a few hundred thousand either way.
No, I didn't want to know. I wanted to know if the person making the accusation knew or it was a guesstimate.

A pastor (shepherd) was a ministry not a position and they had a different role to an Elder or Bishop which were the same person.

Not once was a leader of the church in the New Testament referred to as a Pastor. Every verse on the subject indicates Apostles, Prophets and Elders. Not once is a Pastor mentioned.

I remember hearing about this a long time ago (meaning elementary school back in the early 1980). I'm still in the process of reading the relevant passage, but I'm pretty sure that the spiritual gifts as such go to the churches per se. The churches are each all one body, but the spiritual gifts a divided amongst some people, that's part of the hierarchy. The "Mystery of the Church" means that no one knows, and no one can predict, who God will grant spiritual gifts to, one when He will do so, or where they will be. Part of "Church Discipline" is the maxim Bloom Where You're Planted", meaning to go to your local nearest parish church, and accept what God has prepared for you and your local peer group.

I'm sure that makes it really hard when people want exciting prophecy evangelists instead of pastoral communicants, or the meat of the word from an apostle instead of educational introductions from a teacher. There's always a long line at the prophecy counter, with seasonal lunch rushes. Of course, if you have a real fake, the whole body suffers, and no one is sure what to do about that.

No point in going to a church that is run by man, not God.

I addressed your question, or rather the bible did, in which you stated the below which is not correct. Ephesians 4:11 uses the word 'pastor' and the definition of the word is self explanatory as relates to its meaning shepherd which is the same as elder or bishop, all of which can be considered leaders of the church.

First test of a prophecy. All prophecy today comes from scripture. If it doesn't have a scriptural address, it ain't prophecy.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, the vast majority of “Christians” worldwide have no clue what synergism is (even though they themselves are synergistic).

The Lord himself warns you all, do not follow the majority down the broad road to hell. Repent and believe the gospel of God.

Matthew 7:13-23

[13] “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. [14] For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
[15] “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. [16] You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? [17] So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. [18] A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. [19] Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. [20] Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
[21] “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. [22] On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ [23] And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

The churches and people in the aforementioned list should be addressed in a 2 Corinthians 10 manner rather than Matthew 13 (tares and wheat parable) way.

We are commanded to tear down strongholds, utterly destroy false logismos: reasonings, ideas… that are against the truth of God, not tolerate them until the harvest.
