our son and daughter-in-law are in Athens. they sent us a video saying it's 100 degrees there.
we saw Athena's temple and the Parthenon, and our daughter-in-law joked she wanted the god of clouds and lower temperatures.

husband said: they went to Greece in August. what were they expecting? :p

28 C is 82 F. It was in the 90s earlier today. It is 5:220PM right now. I amon the east coast, hotter here, but usually cooler here. God bless you...

It's 76F and raining here. Down from 89F at noon. We expect the weather to go downhill as the storm moves closer.

don’t live in that region anymore but know the town . I graduated High School from there.

So we got a hurricane Lee coming down the north east this weekend which has now been downgraded to a northeastern storm with high winds and capable of doing damage.
I pray that people are safe.
@ThereRoseaLamb , where are you ? East Coast? I hope you’re safe out there.
I won’t have high winds where I’m at compared to the coast but I will have downed branches and possibly power outage.
I also have a basement in case winds get too high. :)

i believe that dear lady is in one of the so-called fly over states. if i remember correctly (and what are the chances of that happening :rolleyes:), she has family in the Canadian Maritimes? been praying for them all week.

Oh I moved south many moons ago and got married. I use to live in eastern Canada, Nova Scotia. It looks like my kin will take a direct hit, I have been praying for them.
