Do you minister? Do you try to bring people to Christ? What do you tell someone who rightfully claims the Bible is corrupt and nobody knows which version is 100% accurate? Because if you don't have the answer for that, many people will simply say the original unchanged version of Quran is still preserved by Allah in Meccah.
Allah is a false god and the quran was written by a pedophile.

Having to paste the same comment over and over shows you've lost the argument.
No, but telling someone you're wrong without showing proof definitely does! Nobody even addressed these so far without providing any proof for their claims.

Peter was used greatly of God in Jerusalem. Paul was used to go to the Gentiles and did much more than Peter. Should I say because Paul outworked Peter, Jesus came to him personally, and used him to write more of the new testament, he was given bigger keys?
Peter was sent to God's chosen people, the Jews, while Paul was sent to gentiles, which were more numerous, requiring more work. Paul was never given any keys like Peter has. More work doesn't mean more honor or authority.

I tell people who ask that the Bible is reliable.
Oh is it now? So which version is correct? Which set of manuscripts were preserved by God, because they can't all be, they contradict each other.

With the Hebrew / Aramaic Scriptures and the Greek Scriptures. Theses were the original manuscripts.
That's three languages, not one. ;)

I believe the promise of Psalms 12:6-7.
Many do not like the message of this passage and so that try figure out a work around to explain it away. In my view, I know I cannot escape God’s Word. It is eternal.
I'm not arguing the fact that God has preserved His word (like your snarky and inappropriate comment implies). I'm arguing the fact that Psalm 12 does not support the idea.

Keys represent authority. By virtue of being given more work and being used to write more scripture, Paul exercised more authority. He also withstood Peter to his face over poor doctrinal practice. Did Paul overstep his authority?
In Matthew 28, was Peter singled out to receive authority that that the other Apostles didn't receive? Why not?
Does Peter speak with more authority than Paul?
Does Paul say what Peter is writing things difficult to understand?
Again, Peter was given a great position of authority in the early church. But his authority came from Jesus. And nowhere does the Bible assert that he had the authority to choose a successor, or any else for that matter. According to Ephesians 4, it is God who gives some to be Apostles, prophets, etc.

What do you believe this promise is saying?
Modern Textual Critics like James White try to explain away Psalms 12:6-7 by pointing to their corrupt so called earlier manuscripts that alters verse 7 in that it refers exclusively to the people being preserved for eternity and not the Lord’s pure words. While the context of this chapter is saying that God’s people will be preserved forever, the immediate context is verse 6 in regards to the Lord’s pure words. So God’s pure words and the people will be preserved for all eternity. God’s people can only be preserved if they have God’s words. If there are no words of God, they cannot have faith in God. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). But it is highly suspicious that the recent Modern Translation Movement is favoring minority texts which adhere to an interpretation that undermines the established Bible for hundreds of years. In addition, other verses are changed in regards to uplifting God’s Word, as well. Psalms 138:2 says in the KJV “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” This truth is changed in Modern Translations. The Word is not magnified above His name in Modern Bibles. This again is highly suspicious that their disregard for the Word can be seen in the very manuscripts they favor. Here is another one that is altered. 2 Corinthians 2:17 says, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” But in Modern bibles it hides the fact that God’s words were being corrupted during even Paul’s time. It says “peddle” instead of corrupt. There are more like this. This is a pattern we see. It makes sense because the text type of the so-called better manuscripts favored by Modern Textual Criticism is Alexandrian. Meaning, the manuscripts (Vaticanus and Sinaiticus for the NT Greek) they favor originate from Alexandria, Egypt.

Dark Origins of the Alexandria, Egypt manuscripts (for the NT Critical Text or the OT LXX):
  • The concluding statement of the Creed of the Alexandrian Cult is that: THERE IS NO FINAL, ABSOLUTE, WRITTEN AUTHORITY OF GOD ANYWHERE ON THIS EARTH.
  • The removal of 1 John 5:7 and the birthplace of Arianism (Anti-Trinitarianism). The three appearances of “Godhead” (which means Trinity) is changed to say something else. So direct references of the Trinity are attacked and removed.
  • Egypt is predominantly mentioned as being negative in the Bible.

It’s odd that the Modern bibles are based upon the Alexandrian manuscripts, and yet those very scholars who created them also sing the same song (so to speak) as the Alexandrian cult does in the fact that they say the same thing in that there is no final, absolute, written authority of God.

Catholics always want to elevate Peter, just as they elevate Mary.

Both go directly against what Jesus explicitly said.

Pharisees did a lot worse than that, so that's irrelevant. They are extremely corrupt, but so are all our
earthly governments, but we still have to obey laws as told in Romans 13:1. All authority is from God,
and anyone who rebels against authority, rebels against God himself. Stop rebelling against God.
On the one hand you say we must submit to the RCC, as if it was Biblically endorsed for us to do so,
but on the other hand the RCC has spit us out and said we are going to hell because we do not believe
their anti-Biblical dogmas, which are mandated for the Catholic, but which go against what God's Word says.
So you pit your faulty understanding against Biblical truth and say we (not you) are in the wrong. Too funny.

Recently I came across this video on Youtube where the guy uses software to count number of occurrences of certain words in the bible and the King James version is just FILLED completely with all kinds of secret messages.

I downloaded the software (King James Pure Bible Search) and went to work... so far I found prophet Muhammad's birth and death year:oops:

I looked up all occurrences and variations of the words false, prophet and Ishmaelite. I got 633 occurences in 570 verses.

false|falsely|falsehood
prophet|prophet's|prophets|
ishmaelite|ishmael|ishmael's|ishmaelites

Now I'm wondering if it's just a coincidence/confirmation bias.

The guy's Youtube channel has a lot of other videos with countless other encoded formulas that make it just about impossible to dismiss the whole thing as coincidence or conspiracy.
..........Just my take on the subject, I think one should be careful not to get off on rabbit trails that end up distracting you and not helping anyone...remember I Cor. 13...the greatest gift is LOVE

Your interpretation of Psalm 12:6-7 is wrong. Read the whole psalm, not just the two verses. Then you will see what the subject is. God keeps His children safe—for all eternity, not just this generation. That protection is something you can rely on because the Creator personally makes that commitment to you. It's a promise you can claim.
This is basic English you can show to any English teacher and they will say the same thing I am saying if they have no bias on the matter. I don’t know how you can read Psalms 12:6-7 in the KJV as referring exclusively to God’s people alone when verse 6 is referring to God’s pure words in context to verse 7 with them being preserved forever. You be best to simply say you favor the Modern Bible that states what you prefer the text to say.

Wow! This answer to a very simple question is one of the best examples of “overreach” I have ever seen. Psalm 12 is clearly written to assure us that God will be faithful to preserve His own, even in the midst of wicked people living in wicked times as described in verses 1-4. How do we know He will? He says so in verse 5. How do we know He will keep His promise? Verse 6 tells us: His word is as pure as the purest silver. Verses 7 and 8 acknowledge and claim the promise. It’s amazing how timely this psalm is—how relevant! We are certainly living in a corrupt generation, but the pure and simple truth is that we can trust our Father to preserve us.

Psalm 12 NKJV

1 Help, Lord, for the godly man ceases!
For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men.
2 They speak idly everyone with his neighbor;
With flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
3 May the Lord cut off all flattering lips,
And the tongue that speaks proud things,
4 Who have said,
“With our tongue we will prevail;
Our lips are our own;
Who is lord over us?”
5 “For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy,
Now I will arise,” says the Lord;
“I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.”
6 The words of the Lord are pure words,
Like silver tried in a furnace of earth,
Purified seven times.

7 You shall keep them, O Lord,
You shall preserve them from this generation forever.
8 The wicked prowl on every side,
When vileness is exalted among the sons of men.

Psalm 119:89 NKJV

Forever, O Lord,
Your word is settled in heaven.

interesting factoid about Rome, it's gentile.

first thing you should do when you read verse 6 talking about "the words of the LORD" is recognize that verse 5 is the words the LORD said.

in the whole psalm only one verse is the words of the LORD - verse 5. kind of important, when the LORD speaks.
you might say, His words are pure words.

the context of verse 6 is that it immediately follows verse 5. the subject of verse 6 and 7 is the words of the LORD found in verse 5.

Really...?

So where is this "creed" documented? I'm sure since you are so certain, you have several sources at hand.

And why are you YELLING?

Oops…. I‘m an English teacher, and I disagree. As the psalm opens, the psalmist is pleading for help because godliness is disappearing from the earth. The Lord responds to his plea in verse 5. If this were written in prose, verse 5 would be a separate paragraph. In verses 6-8, the psalmist expresses his reassurance that his faithful God will help His people and provide safety for the sake of the oppressed “poor and needy” in verse 5.

@Bible_Highlighter …. We have other scriptures that tell us that the word of the LORD endures forever; so there is no need to make up an “immediate” context for one verse—another name for taking one verse out of context, or cherry picking. For believers, these examples relieve any doubt that the Lord intends to preserve His words throughout all generations The only problem is that too many people don’t want to read it.

1 Peter 1:25: But the word of the Lord endures forever.”
Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

Isaiah 40:8: The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.

Psalm 119:89: Forever, O Lord,
Your word is settled in heaven.
