What if you die before water baptism?

Then God anointed Me with his spirit (the spirit took up residence in me)

In scripture we see being baptised into Christ with water.

You have been asked many times by me to quit.

Have you listened.

Do you recognised the scripture saying you have receive the holy spirit and Christ.

Well let's go one step further do you recognise you have to to receive the father the son and the holy spirit.

So you tell me why a person is not saved if he has received the father.

Tell me why a person is not saved when he has received the Holy spirit.

Tell me why a person is not saved when he has received the Christ.

So let's ask you again.

Are you saved when the father is drawing you to the son.

Are you fully saved before you receive the son.

Don't you have to believe in the trinity to be fully saved.

If that were true, the Holy Spirit would be telling you to accept what God said in His Word about baptism and to quit arguing against what the Lord said.

If you read it in the greek. Peter tells EVERYONE to repent. And tells only a select group of people to be baptized.

This is a thread for people who believe water baptism is required for salvation, if you aren't that type of person, then obviously you don't need to answer this question, as I know you will just say the man is saved, as water isnt required.

Hypothetical situations that are often brought up by people to argue against baptismal regeneration are:

1. What about someone who is ill, about to die, cries out to God, asks Jesus to save them, will they die lost because they didn't have enough time to get baptized?

2. What about someone who is on a stranded island and has no one to baptize him, dies there, will he die lost?

In my opinion both of these arguments deserve a proper response, which is why I am making this thread. Give me your case, you who believe baptism in water is required for salvation.

PS I hope this thread isnt gonna turn into 50 responses and 0 answers and everyone just saying "Its not required for salvation because of such and such." I get it, I know the arguments both ways, but im just asking our baptismal regeneration people here to answer these. Thank you for understanding.

Totally agree with you that Baptism is not required to be saved. Remember the theif on the cross whom Jesus said to him that he would be with him in Paradise? He wasn't taken down and baptised. Jesus knew that in this man's heart he believed that Jesus was the Christ and felt bad about his sins. However, Baptism is an important step that all Believers should desire to take (and not be forced to take) to make a public statement that they follow Jesus Christ and thank Him for forgiving them of their sins. Too many churches have turned Baptism into a religious act required to be saved and/or to be a member of their church. Jesus knows your heart, you can't fool him.
