John 8:36 plus Romans 8:2 If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.
:)
so the law of sin and death held us in bondage ... what part of bondage spells freewill?

's no such thing as freewill. In order to prove freewill you have to cease entirely from sin and then refuse to die.

And those good folks who hear the Saviour's voice and spring forth out of their graves will not do so by any freewill choice or decision of their own.

I feel so sad when I hear christians denounce these mass killers and damn them to hell "they have made their bed and now they must lie in it, what they did they did of their own freewill"

What hope then is there for such ones?

If we told them the truth that they were not acting out of a free will but that the will and the power they were acting by was that of Satan the arch enemy of God and mankind to whom they are slaves.
They just might cry for mercy.

Apparently you also believe you were saved at baptism? are you referring to infant baptism or later on in life?

either way, we are saved through the blood of Christ. not water
Yes, saved through the blood of Christ not water..

Yes, we only know God because God "chose" to revealed Himself to us Not because we ourselves can find Him and know Him.. God is a Spirit and invisible, His ways are past finding out..to Believe in God is to know Him.
This makes no sense.

Please think about what you are saying

Amen, I agree 100%

Disagree 100%

God redeemed us from the slave striker of sin. With his blood. So all who believe will nto perish.

Free will is in tact. Even a slave has free will.
Hi, a slave will do whatever His/her master says..Rom 6, Rom 14

Why would they say "no". If they know freedom means life from death?
Yet many said no when the slaves won their freedom. Even most of Israel wanted to go back. Because they think they have it better and they do nto realise how bad off they are.

Hi, I apologise, I don't play these games either...But my questions are based on the Scriptures you quoted.
hmmm...let's take another look, shall we?

I quote the scriptures YOU referenced.

Yes, saved through the blood of Christ not water..
why did you say were saved when you were water baptized in your profile? that is what you stated

you seem to be vague about what you have stated yourself

So can you receive someone you didn't even know or see, without being taught by someone or Himself regarding himself?
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:19-20 (KJV)

The Israelites were promised freedom until they get to the promise land Not the Sinai desert...
"Once anyone knows the Truth, then the Truth will set them free"... Anyone who reject this, it's because they have not known the Truth..1Theso 2:10

Can we have a relationship with someone who is a Spirit or "Invisible"?
When His Spirit comes to dwell within us...yes we can know Him...The Holy Spirit working along with the Word of God enabled us to know the Lord intimately.

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

Ok, so we know because God revealed it us...So if God chose not to reveal it us then we will never know and we will never believe in Him...
