Worse thing that a man can do is to cheat on his wife. There is no excuse. Irreparable harm is done as the marital trust can never be restored.

During my first marriage my X cheated on me too, also physically and verbally too.

May God be with you and guide you on this most difficult journey that lies ahead. Yes, you have to establish a 'new normal'. Hopefully it will be a better, and there will be peace in your mind and joy in your heart.

God does indeed have plans for you but there will be scars that remain.

I'm sorry sister. Been divorced myself and its a total life overhaul, and it sucks. At multiple levels of every kind if suckage you can think of. And then there's the kids. My heart breaks for you. I just hope you are moving into better circumstances and you are safe. Divorce can be ugly too.

I feel like I will never be able to trust a man again. I feel unlovable.
