I'd take it all except for the chickens. They poop wherever they happen to be, and I don't see no yard there. They'd be pooping on the street, or maybe on the doorstep.
Well, no trees, no birds, no chickens, no eggs and no food for you.

Sometimes you got to take the bad with the food good

I'm sure there is an inner courtyard that will be chicken-free esp if you clip their wings so they can't fly in or attempt to jump over the door/gate.

I think I'd take chicken over a dog any day. Dog poop is not pleasant and they do not bury their turds. At least chickens ones make good manure for the garden/compost.

Anyway...be interesting what other neighbourhoods ppl come up with. I worked in retirement villages...and they were kind of interesting, some were somewhat dead places on the outside..rest homes could be worse though.

A lot of them would be done according to a specific plan/blue print and they made a lot of money for those at the top. Imagine being the landlord for those that had hundreds of occupants. They'd make millions, if not billions. They did not allow chickens of course. Very clean and sterile too.

Well they are clean to begin with. When maintenance lapses due to lack of cashflow, then it all goes to pot.

Although some villages are perfectly lovely, I remember scouting one out that was established and had a chapel/church in the middle and going in and you could FEEL the prayers in the sanctuary...like you know God had His presence there.

If I were still single I would go with the tent or maybe my car. Actually, we are homeowners, 3 bedroom, 2 baths, laundry room. 1200 square feet in a quiet neighborhood. Not sure of the lot size but it is one of the bigger ones on the block. Not a bad set-up for the two of us. Kind of peaceful.

Me, shaking my fist @G00WZ and his little floating castle as he blocks my essential sunshine at exactly 7:20 AM!!! 😡

I see houses 🏘️ like this one on hiking trails, maybe they are exempted from tax?

Lol.

Knowing the government...

I would guess they're still very much included, but I could be wrong.

I've heard that this is exactly why there are so many restrictions/laws against people living in small spaces (tiny houses, campers, RV's, sheds,) or even storage units -- because the counties haven't figured out a way to tax them yet.

So glad I live in a country where nobody's ever heard of HOA

But wait what's this, I can't renovate the outside of my character villa and replace the rotting wooden window sashes with aluminium siding?

I am going to write an angry letter to the City Council and the mayor!!

Also, if you pay the Council enough they will let you have your own helicopter pad in your back yard. Who cares about the neighbours and wildlife and trees on your flight path.

They could use your money to build another motorway!

What about a UFO hangar? (Ssshhhh. Don't spread word of that around too much.)
