I am the nosy neighbor who knows and talks to everybody even when they don't want to talk

When I run into those people I just go off in my head and think about something while they talk.

I know people who are afraid of people who talk a lot. They will turn around and go the other way. Those scared people just don't have any imagination...

I want a house that looks just like the Munster house with same landscaping as the Munster's had; Munster Koach parked out front and definitely no HOA.

I love the look of this house, but I have to admit I'd be a little intimidated.

I could see myself creeping up to the gate/door and saying in a small, scared, stuttering voice, "C-c-c-aaa---rrie??!"

Kind of like when Shaggy and Scooby were tiptoeing around and hoping they wouldn't find an actual ghost:




But then Carrie would appear with her warm smile, free weight from her workout in one arm and a plate full of home-baked goodies in the other, and all trepidation would instantly melt away!!

@Edith is so sweet and funny I'm pretty sure I would wind up spilling ALL the tea (telling her everything she wanted to know and more!) without even realizing it!

On the island by the beach! My own one is on the docks so I can go fishing outside my door. Batzmaru has a comics stand near me.
And down the lane, near the plaza, Hello Kitty has her bakery/cafe, of course.
Of course if any members on CC play the game I'd put them up in one of the cabins. There is even some in the Spooky Swamp, near Kuromi's pumpkin magic potion shop and the Haunted House.
Or maybe you'd like the ones underwater? There's a mermaidifier that makes you into a mermaid so you can breathe and swim underwater in the coral reef.

That Hello Kitty house is adorable!!!

I'd be especially interested in seeing how the inside is decorated!!

I tell this story often -- my parents were watching every penny when I was growing up, so they didn't buy us kids whimsical things (maybe for a birthday or Christmas, but even then, it was often something off-brand.) There was a little girl in Lutheran grade school whose mother bought her ALL the cool Hello Kitty accessories, mini pencils, and erasers, etc., and I was so jealous!!!

Now that I'm an adult and can buy my own things, I like to splurge now and then. But it has to be something reasonably-priced and something I'll actually use.

I saw some Halloween-themed Hello Kitty character stuffed bag charms the other day and boy was I tempted -- I wanted to buy one for my backpack -- but they were around $14 a piece, and that just seemed like way too much for something so tiny.

Don't worry, I won't serve any lizard livers, vulture soup, filet of dragon, or other such Munster delicacies lol.
Only the best for you! I figure if you were brave enough to get to the door you deserve the best non-Munster meal followed by a meringue delicacy!

My brothers live in this old villa. I think it needs a new coat of paint because its flaking and the curtains are also ripped/torn so it is sort of beginning to look like a haunted house.

Anyway on Halloween they lock the gates and doors as everyone tries to get in.
Also, there is a sort of wooden steps around the side leading to the verandah that have started to rot, and I have to be extra careful that I don't put my foot in it one day and fall through.

In certain areas in my town, they have state houses. Which are basically govt issued houses where low income tenants can rent.

They are all the same, some are just built like boxes on bare lawns. Anyway as some areas are hilly and not flat, they have to be raised up and stairs lead to the front door, But some had ranch sliders that were meant to lead to a deck, but nobody had enough money to build one and so the ranch sliders open out to nothing and if its a big slope there could be quite a way to fall if you needed to exit.

Like this but the state houses are wooden in NZ and not always directly on the street. Which meant the tenants also had to mow a vast expanse of lawn which didn't have any decent topsoil to plant a garden, as it was scraped clean to build the house and sold off somewhere else.

You'll find something. My plushie Kuromi was $14 which would probably be $7 US and was a decent size, tho I got her from one of the dollar shops. Her use is going to be spooking everyone by sitting in the windows of my haunted house.

Yea parking can be a problem you do need to consider a that and a decent driveway that's not just gravel stone/chip or dirt unless you drive a SUV.

no, different areas, all within 12 miles. 3 of the 4 driveways are pavement. truly, there are about 25 vehicles; tractors, cars & trucks.

My cousin said has 11 cars. When he said he had 'a few' I pressed him on how many he did have.
I was like 'how do you have room to park them all??' Most garages have just 1 or 2 spaces. 3 if you are really wealthy.

Otherwise you park them on your driveway, and if no room, on the street, blocking everyone else.
