    I do not think he was asking how the Calvinist would translate the passage. He was applying particular stress to the gap between "few" and "many", and wants me, or a reasonable Calvinist at any rate, to address the Calvinist's response to this gap.

    Actually the argument was between @VCO and I, and the two of us were able to work out an agreement. And even though there were misunderstandings between the two of us and minor hostilities exchanged, I don't think either of us were quite this proud.
