Is it the ‘end of the world?’ or ‘the end of the age?’

A good interlinear would answer that question. The word for "world" is Strong's #165 which is aiōnos, which is translated "ages" in most Bibles. The KJV always renders it "world". Yes, there will be a "new heaven's and a new earth" but not in the literal sense. As Ecclesiastes 1:4 tells us...

    Is the human soul immortal?

So, animals go to heaven? You mean I'll see my cat, Sam in the Kingdom of Heaven? "And they went into the ark to Noah, two by two, of all flesh in which is the breath of life." Gen. 7:15

Do the Scriptures teach universal redemption or universal salvation, or do they teach both?

There wouldn't be a need for a spiritual birth had Adam obeyed. The earth would be filled with perfect humanity. The spiritual birth, the New Creation was created for a purpose, without sin, that purpose wouldn't be needed.

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

What's to understand? He quoted a scripture, gave his thoughts and I gave mine.

Do the Scriptures teach universal redemption or universal salvation, or do they teach both?

Tell me something, isn't that what God told Adam, that eternal life depended on him obeying Him? He said "eat of the fruit and you will die". If Adam had not sinned, the world would be filled with humanity, under the same conditions as Adam, obeying God's command. It was the same as the Law...

Do the Scriptures teach universal redemption or universal salvation, or do they teach both?

As a perfect human being, yes, Adam could have ransomed Eve. But he would have stayed dead, and how would the human race begin?

Do the Scriptures teach universal redemption or universal salvation, or do they teach both?

I have a different spin on this. The Bible teaches that Jesus was an exact equivalent of Adam, Adam sinned willfully and so did the race in him, according to 1 Tim. 2:14, compared with Rom. 5:12-14. Jesus died to overcome all the effects of Adam’s wilful sin; and Adam’s wilful sin made him and...

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever" (Heb. 13:8)

What is meant by the expression “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever" in Heb. 13:8 It does not mean that Jesus always acts in the same way or is always doing the same work; nor does it mean that He is always of the same nature, for He was first a spirit being, the...

Do the Scriptures teach universal redemption or universal salvation, or do they teach both?

This is a matter that might be stated in different terms and yet stated correctly. We might say that we have universal redemption, in that the redemption is on behalf of all, and that the results of the death of Christ will be made efficacious to all of Adam’s race. When it is made efficacious...

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

"Atonement” is a better word than “reconciliation,” which is used in some translations and incorrectly implies that we were once all right (that is, not among the ungodly), then we deflected, and now we are reconciled. God is the Author of atonement, and Jesus is the channel God provided...

    Job Chapter seven

Job 10:1 My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. Notice the words “my soul” (twice), “my life,” and “my complaint.” Job’s soul was weary of, or loathed, his life. In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul informed us that...

    Is the human soul immortal?

Exactly, before the breath of life, Adam was a dead soul. People often use the phrase "oh, that poor soul", which isn't referring to a separate entity from the body, but the person himself. RR
