Why do some men, specifically conservative men, dislike childless "cat ladies"?

You should probably actually do some research before talking about things you don't know about, considering science is the reason we know the considerable link between Toxoplasmosis and altered brain function to begin with.

Why do some men, specifically conservative men, dislike childless "cat ladies"?

The stereotype is that man-hating and child-hating liberal women tend to grow into slightly crazed cat collectors since they dislike children but at the same time long for something to care for. And the stereotype does not exist for no reason. On a more scientific level, a person with indoor...

Do christian women in general prefer a virgin man or a man with experiance?

When I was a virgin, a non virgin man would have been 100% out of the question and disqualified. Even now, if (God forbid) I had to for some reason get remarried, I would never give a chance to someone who ever had extramarital sex. I could see how you would come to this conclusion considering...

Why I post about Christians and dating.

I have been to very many churches of different denominations over the years, and not a single one has taught in my presence that affection is a sin. However, the bible is clear that lusting after a person you are not married to is, in fact, a sin.

Why I post about Christians and dating.

The Bible in no way prohibits showing affection before marriage. It just prohibits sex and lust. If you think sex=affection, then you have a very sad, limited, misinformed, and warped view of affection.

    Relationships with Friends After Marriage

That's something each couple will have to decide for themselves. My husband and I have the same friends, so we get together with them once a week at least. Sometimes I have lunch with just girlfriends, but not super often. We mostly group hangout with friends.

Debit or credit, no cash accepted

Yes, you have to check which ones take cash, but they are all labeled. Mine still currently takes cash without problem, and my parents still almost exclusively use cash. I strongly prefer the self-checkout/Walmart pickup, but that said I am also an introvert who dislikes having to unnecessarily...

Don't even know how to do this

Good friends go a long way and family go a long way. Church family included. Focus on loving the people who love you back already and nurturing those relationships now while you are single. It seems like someone who learns how to be content as a single has a lot better chance at finding the...

    How Happy is Happy Enough?

60% isn't much at all, barely over half of you. That's like a semi-close friend, maybe a close friend at best but certainly not spouse level. If you really think that 60% is all the potential that you two will have, then you're kind of begging to be disappointed if you continue with her. It...

    Oppressing Women

I have never heard anyone use that verse, personally, but then against I don't think I've ever had a man try to "oppress" me.

Is it okay to kiss your boyfriend before merriegd?

I guess it's not a sin, but I don't see any reason to waste physical affection on someone you are not married to. Kinda like how kissing a frog isn't a sin either, it's just kinda pointless and meaningless.

    Ladies

Nope. I wouldn't even associate myself with such a person.

Is It Acceptable as a Christian to Say That Looks DO Count?

I think it's less about looks and more about what shape the other person is compared to you. But not really because of physical attraction as much as, will this person be able to do and enjoy the things I love with me? I'm not a workout person, so I don't really care if a guy is super ripped...

    Marriage struggling Please pray

I'm going to say this even though it's a little late for it, not for your sake but for the sake of anyone else reading that is not married yet. But someone who is controlling before marriage will be controlling after marriage. Do NOT put up with anything before marriage that you are not willing...

    Women's movement

Yes, that is kind of what I was thinking. Even today we still have such violent cases where women feel trapped in their situation though, so it is always weird to me when people seem to think that such cases were strictly characteristic to back when traditional relationships were prevalent when...

    Women's movement

So a lot of the things I hear defending the now-toxic women's movement of today seem to revolve around ideas such as: Women used to not be allowed to own property, women could not have their own bank accounts without having a man co-sign, women were not allowed to file for divorces, husband's...

    Controlling the eyes from lust

I would say that all people - including men - do it, but not all are lusting. Like the other day, I went to an exotic animal show where we were helping my husband's family sell stuff, and the vendor across from us was a GIANT lady with GIANT jugs who was wearing a blouse that basically let it...

    Are 7th Day Adventists Christians

I don't know what bible they use, although based on the way they are if you know what I mean, they probably do use KJV strictly. IDK for sure though. My experience is that there are 2 types of SVD, the ones who just claim they are, but rarely go to church and have no idea about the basic...

    Controlling the eyes from lust

It's only a sin if you are lusting. I am a 100% straight female, but when a woman with giant jugs walks by you can bet your life that I'm going to look, whether I want to or not. And that is exactly the reaction that clothes that expose those body parts are meant to get. I'm not lusting when I...

    How close is too close?

Yes they were cousins of sorts. Sarah was Abraham's half-sister. Marrying relatives, with the exception of direct, full siblings, was the norm during that time. It is extremely weird and rare in this day and age and very much frowned upon, but things were not the same back then.
