Clarification, only card carrying party members may vote.
Ok, but how many rep points do we have to shell out in order to buy a card? (so that we can then vote on how rep points are distributed, of course...)

My 2 cents:
(Sometimes my 2 cents is probably only worth half that... but it's all I've got.)

It's like cheesecake.
If I have no cheesecake, and you give me a slice of cheesecake on my birthday, it's a wonderful gift.
But if I have 10 warehouses full of cheesecake, and you give me a slice of cheesecake on my birthday, I'm just going to think you're touched in the head.
A mere slice of cheesecake would just no longer have any value to me.
So I think what Max is saying...

Is that rep points need to be replaced with cheesecake.

I vote "yes" to that.

Please close these threads. They are designed to raise rep points for no real reason, and some of the members who've only been here a few months have over a hundred rep points, while I have been here 8 years I only have 188 rep points. I'm not that concerned with rep points but I am concerned when something is being abused..

And maybe something can be posted about not abusing rep points? Just a suggestion. Thanks.

Don't feel bad. I've been on this site waaaaaay longer than you have and have considerably lower rep power than you do.

The number of posts versus rep power is probably the most telling. :p

Seems like many here are saying that they don’t care about rep but I think they are just deceiving themselves.

There Is an option to turn off your rep you know.

So because people don't go out of their way to turn it off they are being dishonest with themself? That's some faulty logic. I don't turn it off because I don't notice it's even there. And I don't care one way or the other if it shows. I rarely even notice others either.
May not be so eager to assume your way of thinking is how everyone else thinks.
