Sure, it's possible that the OP is trolling.

However, it's also possible that the OP is asking what he perceives to be a legitimate question based on misconceptions about some people's doctrine. A Pentecostal/Charismatic believer could reasonably (yet wrongly) perceive that Cessationists despise the Holy Spirit.

I'm willing to at least figure out which it is.

I mean sure but this is the oddest and worse possible way to ask a genuine question.
Also, I’m not sure where the OP heard this assumption that Christians “hate” the Holy Spirit.

Just rings very odd and non genuine to me, assuming even that English may not be OP’s primary language.

Because the Holy Ghost is the one who exposes foolishness and convicts people of their sin. Is the bliss of being a moron worth going to Hell for?
