For you to repeatedly saying we are dating is a disservice to him, and to me

How could anybody date across the internet?

Do they do video conferencing on the cell phone where each of them goes to a restaurant to eat in their respective towns where each of them lives and that's a date or something? Weird.

And if you do this because you are lonely and wish you had a close friendship, please ask God about it.

Why not just develop a close relationship with the Lord?

People can collectively agree on something without dating or being together.

You've made several posts since you've been back implying or downright saying Lynx and I must have at least dated, and we have repeatedly told you we have not dated, nor are we together.

To keep making these statements implies that either Lynx or I am lying, and I assure you, we have never dated. If it's one thing I can't stand, it's false accusations.

Now over the years, I've spent probably a about a month's worth of time in real life around Lynx and/or his family at various in-person meetups across the country.

But I can say that of SEVERAL CC members (many of whom aren't here anymore,) and I'm not, nor have I dated, any of THEM, either.
Yes , false accusations based on no evidence whatsoever never good . After I got baptised and before I met my hubby , I was of course celibate , this was about seven years . My mum told everyone that I was a lesbian because I hadn't had a boyfriend all that time . 😖 . U cannot imagine how furious I was ! I have had to put up with a lot in my life but false accusations made just for someone's own amusement r vile and the thing that angers me most . Once u put something out there u can't take it back and there's always a few drongos that will believe anything and pass it on as fact . 🤬

Hiesenberg. Yesss. A good guy going bad guy. From cooking Crystal meth as a teacher with one of his students to trying to get revenge sex on his wife even though he is not the guy to do something like that. Very hilarious show.

We feel lonely sometimes. It's ok to give the body what it wants. You are here as a temporary person. A visitor. Do what you love/like.

The most important thing no one tells you in life is to be happy. Yes, sometimes we sacrifice our happiness for others. Just make sure you have enough for yourself before you give others.

You have to give the body what it wants. Talk to fitness instructors and find a program you can work to compensate for your eating vices, etc.

I like to eat. Cannot stay disciplined all the time. Discipline is not infinite. So, have cheat days, etc.

I am just who I am. I live day by day. No goals. No aspirations. Free spirit. I have life goals. But beyond that, nothing. Not the guy who ever ran after money or power.

No, that's walking after the pleasures of the flesh which is sinful behavior.

What current bad habits are you working on now?
Right now I'm working on the habit of having conversations with myself.
Sometimes, it is very useful.
Sometimes, very entertaining.
And sometimes it's just plain scary, like the arguments I get into with myself.

HELP!!!!!!
I'm stuck in the middle of the makings of a BDF thread!!!
And it's with myself

See, I read: "The most important thing no one tells you in life is to be happy."
and my very first thought was "no, you're not always going to be happy. John 16:33 (NIV) says "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble [or sorrows]. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

And then my next thought was "Yea, but what about: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 saying 'Rejoice at all times. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.' Or what about Philippians 4:4 'Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!' Hmmmm?"

@Godsgirl1983 wins the internetz for the day!!

I totally know what you're saying though.

I regularly argue with myself using various passages regarding work and being productive, then try to justify for just wanting to plop on the couch with all the passages about rest! 😎😇:devilish:

Ah yes! All the ones about rest.
I like those...
then I don't feel guilty when I'm not working.

Ah :poop: here I go again with internal BDF
"But what about the ones that talk about laziness? Hmmmm? Are you truly resting, or just being lazy? Hmm? HMMMMM?"

Somebody PLEASE help me turn it off!😂

Oh it is? It is. So? I've known people who went cold turkey and died in a month's time. Change if at all possible is a slow one from addictions. No one here is perfect enough to define sinful behaviour to someone else. Thanks

There is physical rest and spiritual rest and there is physical laziness and spiritual laziness . The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak ❤️ . Our bodies wear out but our spirits should b able to stay strong in Christ ❤️

No one here is perfect enough to define sinful behaviour to someone else.

God does not teach in His Word that we can gradually stop sinning by sinning a little less as we go.

No, we are to REPENT of our sin and doing heroin or whatever hard drugs you are speaking of must be stopped immediately as the person repents of this sin asking the Lord for forgiveness in order to be cleanse of their sin by the Blood of Jesus.

If they continue using drugs a little less each time, they are still living in sinful behavior and as such they would not go to Heaven if they died.

It would be better to stop cold turkey and die and go to Heaven than to continue in sin die and go to hell.

God's Word tells us what sinful behavior is. Ignore His warnings at your own peril.

Jesus Dude. You do assume a lot. Really.

Heroin? Show some respect. You don't even know me and you have absolutely no idea who I am. I have zero interest in this conversation with you.

Do yourself a favour and stop talking with me. You definitely aren't my friend and won't be one in a million years. Don't throw your judgement on people without knowing about them and especially when you aren't welcome.

Don't condescend. Go your way peacefully. I'm not buying any of what you're selling today. In no mood to talk about this.

I'm not a fan of argumentative discourse. Keep this up and I'll ignore you

huh never seen breaking bad, is it about...DRUGS?

It's not ok to tease me, but people do it anyway, even when I tell them to stop.
But even if I do that, they will continue to do this behind my back.

It's like when people drink and say they stopped, but they really haven't, they just don't do it in front of you.

So I dunno. If the Lord wants to, He can make it stop - but you have to tell Him so, and take the first step. Otherwise you will never be free.

You cannot control other people, you need to have self-control, and that requires patience and persistence.

If I learned anything from this forum, is people can say a lot of things, but they won't do them. I have no idea why, someone who doesn't want to date, or be dating another person, then themselves jokes about dating the other person, just to confuse everyone.
I have no idea why someone, who doesn't want to eat junk food, then posts all about the junk food that they don't want to eat.

It does not make any sense to me. IMHO.
If you have too much time on your hands..do not blame someone else that they have time on their hands to help you, or care about you, and maybe want to help you think of other things to take your mind off things. I don't want to be an enabler.

This is not AA, or the 12 step program where the AA people meet up every week and talk about how drunk they got or did not get with other drunkards. And then boast for years later they got sober.

If you confess your sin, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
The sin is gone as far as east is from the west. God doesn't hold on to them, and neither should you.

Why did God provide the perfect Lamb , His only begotten sinless son , to b the one and only greatest possible sacrifice for our sins ? Because we r sinful flesh , incapable of being without sin . Not all sins r obvious even to us . Sin is doing anything that is in direct conflict with God's Will , at any time . We cannot b sinless , that's why we have to have faith in Christ , that he is sinless and a willing sacrifice so that we r forgiven and reconciled to our God through Christ and his offering . We still sin , all of us , half the time we don't even know we r doing it ! God's mercies are new every day , why ? Because they need to b because we sin every day ! This is the reason that we cannot judge each other ! With what judgement u judge , so shall u b judged . If we c our brother or sister struggling with a sin ( most of the time we won't because we hide our sin from each other , just as Adam and Eve tried to hide their sin ) we should offer to help , not judge and condemn them , offer to help ! We r all in the same boat , we r in the Ark we r all sinners together , beware how we treat each other .

Because we r sinful flesh , incapable of being without sin

After getting born again you should be a New Creation in Christ who does not walk after the flesh but after the Spirit.

Sad to hear you cannot stop engaging in sinful behavior.

This is the reason that we cannot judge each other !

So if someone claiming to be a Christ is engaging in sinful behavior other believers should sit down and shut up and just accept them as being a Christian in good standing?

Does this include "christian" rapists and child molesters? What about "christian" bank robbers?

Is there any sinful behavior one claiming to be a Christian can do that you would object to? Or would you only object if they were doing evil to you?

If so are you not judging them? Did you not know that Jesus instructs us to judge righteously???
Jesus tells us to judge righteously

John 7:24
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

The only way to judge righteously is to compare what people do and say to what God's Word teaches.

He also warns that we will be judged with the judgement that we judge with (reap what we sow - Gal 6:7,8)

Matthew 7:2
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

So, if someone is believing or doing something that is obviously in opposition to what God's Word teaches... it's not "judging" them to point out what they believe or do is in opposition to what God's Word teaches

By the same token, we should apply God's Word to ourselves and we should actually judge ourselves

1 Corinthians 11:31
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

The purpose of this is to submit ourselves to the Lord so that He does not have to judge us as spoken of in 1 Corinthians 11:32.... the Lord would much rather have us come to Him in submission and ask / believe for His leading / teaching so we can keep ourselves on the path that leads to life and not get off on the path that leads to death (separation from God)

1 Corinthians 5:11-13
But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

we r in the Ark we r all sinners together

No, that's not true for true believers who turn away from satan to serve the Lord

What you are describing is people who don't know the Lord and just claim to be Christians

Those following reformed theology are falsely taught they were born sinners and can never stop sinning

People believing such don't understand the new birth or what walking in the Spirit is all about as they are yet carnal walking after the pleasures of the flesh.

That's what happens when people sit under false teachers

Matthew 24:4,5
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

*Many includes those claiming "I am anointed to speak for God" that are deceiving many (false teachers)

Rapists and child molesters and bank robbers r of course sinners and also probably not actual Christians to start with . Do u realise how much of our behaviour, words and thoughts r actually sinful ? Focussing on the big obvious sins might mean that we perceive ourselves as being sinless because we don't take or murder people . Jesus said that if we r to b perfect we r to sell all of our possessions and give the money to the poor , have u done that ? Ok so maybe I'm being a bit extreme but , how much of your money do u spend on what might b called luxurious items ? U could b giving that money to charity instead of indulging yourself . Please don't take that personally , I'm just trying to illustrate my point , which is , we all do many things every day that r sinful , just because we aren't raping , murdering or stealing doesn't mean we r sinless . There r very many things that we do that r offensive to God and we don't even realise it . There has never been a sinless human other than Jesus Christ . That's a fact . I have to go now my mum has just sent me a weird text 🙀 have to find out what's up .

Rapists and child molesters and bank robbers r of course sinners and also probably not actual Christians to start with .

And yet we keep hearing about people that were Christians and fell away back in to doing sinful stuff.

No, that's not true.. It's a very rare occurrence for the mature believer to sin:

Hebrews 5:14
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Galatians 5:16
Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1 John 3:7
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that DOES righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil

1 John 3:6
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

1 Corinthians 15:34
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Jesus said that if we r to b perfect we r to sell all of our possessions and give the money to the poor , have u done that ?

He did not tell every person in the Body of Christ to sell all they have and give it all to the poor and for us to be homeless.

That came out of fake religious teachings associated with poverty vows.

One cannot earn their salvation by giving away all their stuff.

how much of your money do u spend on what might b called luxurious items ?

No more than you.

U could b giving that money to charity instead of indulging yourself

You too could b giving that money to charity instead of indulging yourself

we all do many things every day that r sinful

Speak for yourself. I'm not living in sin but maybe you are.

It sounds like you are saying that you engage in sinful behavior most of the day every day

There has never been a sinless human other than Jesus Christ

I didn't see anybody say that, did you?

But, are you aware God's Word says this?

1 John 3:7
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Bottom line here is those we are led by the Holy Spirit will stop engaging in sinful behavior and those that continue in sin are being led by demons

No , they r not being led by demons , they r being led by their own desires , the lust of the flesh .

There are only two entities that lead people.

Either the Lord or the devil.

Anybody that rejects the Lord to walk after the flesh has been inspired by demons to do so because rejecting the Lord is evil and makes on an anti-christ

1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil

You should use your ignore button if you have such problems with the Truths I've been posting such as repentance.

I have zero respect for illicit drugs as the Lord has delivered me from such and I now have His supernatural power over them much to the devil's chagrin
Right. I'm gonna use that Ignore button, because you deserve that and more.

Seems you sit on judgement upon me. You're the one who needs a lesson in repentance because you don't know what that means.

You will be taught by God what repentance means. Godspeed
