And I nearly forgot the most important detail. I have a spinning wheel and I actually spin my own yarn. Old-school living at its finest!

Yes I broke down and bought one for really cheap. I think it helps with wanting to make fries (or cheese curds) to go with burgers and not wanting to spend the energy to heat the whole oven up. So there are moments when it's convenient but it hasn't been life changing. You saying you got an air fryer?
Well that cinches it.. You meet all lanolin's criteria for being a man.Yes I broke down and bought one for really cheap. Every man and his dog has an air-fryer, a vehicle that goes, and some IT knowledge. What's different about you....?
I have those last two. Don't have the air fryer though. Should I get one to qualify as a man?
Wait a minute. If I have all 3 does that mean I'm a man and don't know it? Asking for all those women who work in IT (as most of them will have vehicles and air fryers because most everyone has those two).
There would never be any confusion on that. I have never met a man who so thoroughly overthinks every social situation, for fear of getting on somebody's nerves. I do know quite a few girls like that though. And now I know why God gave me absolutely zero skills in IT -- He wanted to make sure I wouldn't be confused -- lest I accidentally think I was a man!!![]()

Yes cinder has a dog. She mentions it sometimes.I think Cinder proves that she need no man if she can haves all three. + Cheese
Cinder do you have a dog as well?
I have yet to acquire an air fryer. My cousin insists I buy one, but I'm holding out. I don't have the space for it, unless I chuck out the microwave or blow up the kitchen.
I'm hoping they keep adding requirements until they get to one that I don't meet. Otherwise I'll be perpetually confused but fortunately capable of doing everything whether manly or womanly for myself. Does that make me my so significant I don't need an other?Yes cinder has a dog. Cheese? Now guys need cheese too?
I mean... That's not a problem for me. I like cheese and I have cheese. Sometimes after a trip to Aldi I have 17 different kinds of cheese in the fridge.
But the list of requirements seems to be expanding. What's next? A push mower? You're not a real man if you use a riding mower? Real men only use push mowers? What's the next requirement going to be?
They haven't hit one yet? So that means you DO have cheese?I'm hoping they keep adding requirements until they get to one that I don't meet. Still not sure why that's a requirement, but... What kind of cheese we talking about here?
Depends on the kind of cheese. Port du salut, very easily. American "cheese," impossible. Everything else falls on a spectrum between those two.So, we've answered the question: How easily distracted is Lynx by cheese?![]()
Oh wait I don't have the keurig. Phew, guess that proves I'm a girl after all.Wow, the list of what we should be looking for in a man just keeps getting longer.
I've been trying to keep up, so I don't miss out on talking to any good man I might meet.
So far, I've got that he has to have:
1. A Keurig, or a Nespresso, or at least, a better coffee maker than me.
2. "A car that goes."
3. An air fryer.
4. Some IT knowledge.
5. Cheese (?)
I have to agree with Lynx -- I need to know more about the conditional requirements regarding cheese.
Also, what about the ladies who are lactose intolerant?
Do they still need for a man to have cheese?
But I also don't have a keurig, or any coffee maker. My dad has one, but I don't, and his is not even a keurig.Oh wait I don't have the keurig. Phew, guess that proves I'm a girl after all.

I have Faberware brand coffee maker. Does that make me less of a girl?Oh wait I don't have the keurig. Phew, guess that proves I'm a girl after all.
