This is a bad transllation and a lack of understanding of the original Greek.
4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
One if this is proper than Shaul is bi-polar:
Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"
telos: an end, a toll
Original Word: τέλος, ους, τό
Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter
Transliteration: telos
Phonetic Spelling: (tel'-os)
Short Definition: an end, purpose, tax
Definition: (a) an end, (b) event or issue, (c) the principal end, aim, purpose, (d) a tax.
Shaul is not bipolar.
Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the ultimate result of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."
This following verse was not written on accident.
2 Kepha 3:15-16, "And recognize that the longsuffering of Yahweh our Savior is salvation; just as our beloved brother Shaul, in accordance with the wisdom given to him, has written to you, As also in all his letters, speaking in them about these things, in which are some things hard to be understood, which those who are unlearned and unstable twist, as they also do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction."
Yahweh had it written for a reason.
Here are other verses where this same Greek word is used "telos"
Romans 6:20-22, "For when you were servants to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. But then what benefit did you get from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the
result (same word here) of those things is death!But now that you have been set free from sin, and have become servants to Yahweh, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the
result (same word here) is eternal life."
Also there is a place it's used a the "result" of our faith, this is the best example, if it were "end" it would be the end of our faith. Yahweh willing I will find it gain so next time I may show this.
It is not the "end" it's not over, it's the goal or result.
If you think it is properly "end" how do you reconcile this?
Romans 10:4, "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."
Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"
There is a difference in following Yahweh;s instructions for Salvation and for oebdience and love. For Salvation it's of no fruit, as only one man followed it without a single error, however for obedience and love is the purpose, how else would we know what pleases Yahweh? We wouldnt, with no guide, we would just make up in our head our own set of acceptable behaviors and say they are the standard by which we will enter the kingdom or not, there are some other groups of people who have done this in the past.
Romans 7:7, "What? Can anyone therefore say that the Law is sin? No! By no means! But to the contrary, I did not know sin; except through the Law, for I did not know lust, unless the Law had said: Do not covet."
Romans 7:12, "Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandments are holy, and just, and righteous."
Romans 8:4-8, "In order that the righteous requirements of the Law might be fully performed in us, who do not live according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (
bitterly opposed to), Yahweh; for it his not subject to the Law of Yahweh, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please Yahweh."
Why would teaching or not taeching something that has baeen done away have any effect in our standing kingdom if it were just that "done away?"
Mattithyah 5:17-19,
"Do not even think that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets;
I have not come to destroy them, but to establish (
fulfill) them.For truly I say to you;
Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected.
Whosoever, therefore, will break one of the least of these Laws, and will teach men so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of Yahweh;
but whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Yahweh."
