The queen James bible. I dont even understand this book. I mean they are changing Gods word to better "fit" with the "times" (of course meaning to better fit their desires) I dont even understand it. I mean why not just take that big, last step and declare that God is "no longer relevant" in our world? I mean anyone who actually believes in God, truly with all their heart, would fear changing His word to fit their own agenda, the people who butchered the book like they have cannot truly be followers of Christ. So whats the point of even trying to pervert His word for it? Why not just join the earth and toss it away?
I cant really even understand it. Its like they are taking those who struggle with homosexuality, but are also trying to answer Gods call, and do the opposite of what should be done, telling them to let go of their desires and endure, and telling them "you can have both!". Its actually really a horrible thing if you look at it with truth...

I hadn't heard of this, so I looked it up.
The publishers admit to starting with the KJV, changing each verse that deals with homosexuality, and then repackaging it with a new name.
That's all it is.
They actually just changed every verse that directly mentions homosexuality.
Yeah, well.
Whatever.
Like this should surprise anyone.

And I kinda find it surprising, instead of doing what people do, just toss the word away from themselves, they actually made a book that just removed the parts they didnt like.
I mean, yeah changing the bible to fit an agenda is not new, but still, I mean its a very pointless thing to do. If you ahve to remove the parts about Gods will that you dont like, are you really following Him?
It feels more like they are trying to make Him a joke, over actually trying to make Him "more accepting". At least its what I feel about it.

I think this is a good time to recommend everyone this book!
This book takes a powerful, straightforward look at the growing acceptance of homosexuality in the evangelical community. It's old (1980s or 90s) but many of it is still good today. This book would also contain some of my thoughts about the Presbyterian church excepting homosexuality. How can you call your self a Christian and encourage people to just walk right into hell. You were born this way (I don't believe this), but we were all born in sin. That's why we need Jesus to save us from our desire to be sinful.

The protestant church here has it too, but it isn't making "gay marriage christian" [whatever that means], but offers an opportunity for same sex couples to have their civil union blessed. Not my thing though, lol.

Those in committed to pushing the gay agenda would use it as proof against Christian teachings as concerns their sin. Part of the perversion that has occurred in that abomination is what can be said to compel (former) denominational church groups to turn apostate when they vote to approve homosexual marriage, and/or allow sexually active homosexuals into the offices of the church.
I don´t think it is ok (I´m not the church and I´m not a churchy person). If I married a lesbian, i. e., I won´t be worried if she still longs to "sleep" with another girl. My sole concern will be if she needs to sleep with another man and, as a problem, that concern really is: Am I not giving her what she seeks outside the love I would give?
If I was engaged with a person and she still seeks OUTSIDE what I gave, that problem is not only hers, but mine. The church may say what it says, but very few people would admit, publicly, what they do in their privacy, even inside their mind and LOVE is not solely sex, but longtermed acceptance.
When Jesus spoke to that Samaritan who was geting water, He never cursed her for having had more than 5 men (yet her unwillingless to be married, was not mentioned there)
When Jesus comes, the truth will be exposed.

I'd recommend, "After The Ball". Which was written in the 90's by an attorney. And is the playbook of those committed to the homosexual agenda.
Everything that we see happening now was outlined as a point of pursuit to achieve homosexual rights and marriage "equality" in that book.
