Actually, I just wrote 5 people on how I was a little uncomfortable with an entire thread for this...including live4life. She laughed. I'm glad she made it quick...no more....no more.....

Let me help you out a little bit o.k.? Sometimes you got to take a chance and go out on a limb, it's called trust and faith even in a relationship with God He will ask you to leave your comfort zone. Otherwise if no one ever takes that chance they can sit in their house alone for years....How do I know? Well 35 years later of making mistakes and not taking chances I'd say I have a pretty good understanding of not taking a chance and going out on a limb.

We all know by now that tourist got me to go out on a limb and take that chance...God had a really big part in that too as He was prompting me to do some of the chance taking I did. It is not always right to play it safe - life and happiness can pass you by. Pray about it and listen to God's prompts there just may be a Mr. Seoulsearch out there waiting for you to go out on that limb.....Please learn a lesson from my life....

I have never been shy about going after someone I like, from the get-go. I spent ages 17-29 in long-term relationships (one of them being a marriage) and in two cases I went after them. As I posted in another thread, there were two guys here (in the 5 years I've been here, and it was at different times) that I liked and said something to but they did not feel the same about me.

No guts, no glory, no worries. I am definitely not a sit back and wait for something to come along kind of girl.

However, my methods of attraction have changed. In order to know I was really interested in someone here, I'd probably have to meet them in person first. There have also been several Godly men on this site who say they'd prefer to be the one to go after someone so I'm also more cautious because of that.

I do appreciate your encouragement :) but believe me, if I really like someone, I'm not shy about it. Though nowadays I do find myself waiting for a guy to make the first moves, especially here. I was going to write a list of names in the "Crushes" thread of gentlemen I'd love to have coffee with and see if something went from there.

But I figure... if someone liked me, he'd hopefully have the nerve to say something.
