Even better! We're calling EVERYBODY who has questions "immature" and we're saying EVERYONE denies God if they get annoyed by a "read the manual" answer.
Perhaps it would help if instead of viewing the bible as an encyclopedia or a user manual we take it as it is given. The bible is a love letter written to us by God who loves us.What manual?? They like to refer to the Bible as 'the manual', but I see it more as an encyclopedianical source of eternal wisdom and enlightenment...

One scary night the singles will be invaded by the BDF-ers!
And they will discover the deeper conspiracy lurking around in this forum.
Who is behind this conspiracy? It has to be the multi national companies pushing their food here.

I feel guilty when I don’t give time to people. I’m a “look at the clock. I have to be somewhere by (time)” person. I get restless when I’m being delayed. So... I feel like I don’t care enough about people. I care more about my time. Meh.

Oh wait, they're already here, aren't they?
Time is a finite precious commodity.
In the words of Timon "It starts"!My wife makes a good meatloaf. I use the leftovers for sandwiches. Real mayo, not Miracle Whip. Sometimes I put tomato on it too. Some say tomato, some say clamato.

Never!Should I feel guilt for mentioning meatloaf?
Here, Kim. Here is a cookie for you!
*not feeling guilty anymore*
Where there is life there is hope, only the best help one could ask for and you are awesome for providing it, only to be received with humility, gratitude and appreciation as this lifts every burden. The Bible is brimming full of information about managing time, setting priorities, and finding balance in life. The Bible is a great book.
Both made perfect sense! Jesus didn't die so we could struggle endlessly, that's why He gives us faith. It's much more ideal to say to the Lord "I surrender" than be worn out with every split hair of an issue. Leaning, trusting and relying on Him alone not on our flesh is the only way to progress and happiness.Amen! I know sometimes I fall into that category of consulting with others and I've been doing my best to run to God. It really bothers me when someone gets offended when they get referred to look in the bible and pass the blame, I view it as denying who God is and what he is capable of and that is a very dangerous game to play around with. He is the answer of every thing we deal with and those that still ask questions are immature in the faith and to be honest it's okay to ask questions, but we need to know to go to our God in answering them
This topic lends itself beautifully to the argument. If you are saved by grace, you don’t worry about not doing enough. You know you can NEVER do enough, that is quite restful and peaceful.*Waits for the Not By Works arguments to spawn in this thread*

It’s called “Catholic Guilt” for a reason, not “Protestant Guilt”. For we are saved by grace through faith, not of works, lest any man should boast. I sit on my blessed assurance too much, I know. But it is a blessed assurance.
The peace of Christ passes understanding. He’s got you. You don’t have to worry about doing a thing.
Rock of Ages, cleft for me- let me hide myself in Thee.
Could my zeal no languor know, could my tears forever flow,
These for sin could not atone-
Thou must save, and Thou alone-
In my hand, no price I bring,
Simply to Thy cross I cling.
Generally, when I try to “do something” for the cause of Christ, I mess it up royally. I think it is God saying, “Silly girl, you can’t do a thing. I’ve done it all.” I tried to give cookies away to a toothless, homeless woman- but she told me she had diabetes and rejected my charity. I tried to give her apples instead, but she told me she had no teeth.
