Hey Sue ... does your kitty ever misbehave ... then act guilty??? ... I know dogs do, I'm not sure about cats.I think we r done , I'm not defensive at all but if it makes u feel better to believe so , I'm fine with that , whatever makes u happy.

Oh yes , she seems to know exactly what I don't want her to do and then she does it , I think it's attention seeking . Someone bought me a big bunch of flowers for my birthday , I put them in a glass vase and was very careful about where I put them in case she knocked them over . I put them somewhere where there was no room for her to put her furry self any where near them . I came home from shopping yesterday and she had squeezed herself right next to them somehow , so that if she moved one muscle she would knock them over . She had such a smug look on her face as if to say , ' I can always beat u mummy ' . My whole flat had to b redesigned around her naughtiness and yet she still manages to get herself into trouble !Hey Sue ... does your kitty ever misbehave ... then act guilty??? ... I know dogs do, I'm not sure about cats.

Eve was told complete lies, and no commands were give to her by God except to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. That's it. Nothing at all further from God. If you disagree, prove it.Gen. 3:6-7 is self-explanatory. Pointing out that the point was they sinned together should be unnecessary. Can't you answer your own questions simply be reading it? Sin and transgression are synonyms!
You are overthinking and committing the sin of eisegesis: having a belief and wanting to fit all the details into your belief,
even if you need to add a little meaning not in the text, subtract some that is, and distort a bit to make everything fit.
I did not say you were, I said it looked like you were. Your attitude leaves much to be desired.I think we r done , I'm not defensive at all but if it makes u feel better to believe so , I'm fine with that , whatever makes u happy.
Well, no matter how many times I look at this it sure seems you are defending your position,We r allowed to speculate . Could u not just say that it doesn't say anywhere that God told her ?
Speculating does no harm as long as people don't get angry with each other and we can disagree without being nasty .
U may have , or not , noticed that , I haven't said that I believe that Eve didn't sin in eating the fruit . The reason for that is that I'm quite happy to admit I might b wrong and it's not up to me to decide who has or has not sinned , it's up to God Himself . I'm just giving my opinion that's all . Discussions like this r great for provoking us to study things for ourselves and maybe learn something from each other . It's good for us to talk about things and listen to others opinions etc , free speech is massively important , without it we would b living in an environment of control and not of growth and learning .
Eve was told complete lies, and no commands were give to her by God except to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. That's it. Nothing at all further from God. If you disagree, prove it.
Also, Eve was never commanded to obey Adam till as a consequence of the fall, thus she didn't even have to obey Adam either. If you disagree, prove it.
Are you saying someone can "make up a command, as if from God", and everyone who disobeys that made up command should be punished by a just God ... FOR SIN? Ok, "God has commanded you to hop on one foot for 4 hours a day, if you don't, you have sinned.".
Since Eve wasn't there when ADAM ALONE was commanded by God not to eat of the tree, and that He, alone would die if He ate it, And God confirms two additional times that that was exactly the ONE whom the command was for, and no one else, I'm stuck believing God is both just, and has the right to give separate commands to whomever He wishes, and everyone who He gives those commands to is responsible for obeying them, ... not everyone "else" is responsible for obeying them.
Those to whom those direct commands are given, are responsible for obedience, or they sin. Noone "else" sins for disobedience to commands only given to a different person. If not, prove it.
Scripture says, "Through one man sin entered into the world." I take that exactly as it says. It also focusses ONLY on Adam in Rom. 5:14 and 1Co. 15:22
One MAN, Adam, was given a command. One man, Adam, chose to disobey God's command to HIM ALONE. That man sinned. I have no idea what kind of hermeneutical contortionism is involved if Eve sinned first. But then, what command of God did she disobey? (But I'd still like to know how people do it.)
If sin and transgression are exactly the same, then God is horribly unjust, and I expect you are hopping on one foot right now, because if you fail, you sin against God, and your consequences are coming.
True or False: I don't have to prove God gave commands meant for both Adam and Eve together. Scriptures clearly say so.
True or false: I don't have to prove the command was given to Adam alone, not Adam AND Eve. The scriptures are clear, the command was only for Adam.
True or false: I don't have to prove God confirms twice more the command was only FOR Adam. God says so.
True or false: I don't have to prove nothing happened when Eve ate, which nothing should have happened because God didn't command her anything at all regarding the tree, because that's what the scriptures say. No consequences because she had no command of God either way. "Then BOTH their eyes were opened." When HE ate.
True or False: I do not have to prove God was referring to Eve giving Adam of the tree of good and evil, and not Eve's eating of the tree, from scripture, because that's exactly what the scriptures say. "The woman that Thou gave me, she gave to me and I ate." "What is THIS that thou hast done?" refers ONLY to that. Eve's eating or not is NEVER EVER a part of God's discussion with Eve at all.
True or False: The scriptures state that the man ruling over the women was a consequence of the fall and Eve didn't have to obey Adam at all till after this point.
True or false: If God chooses to attribute sins to ANYONE ELSE other than the person(s) given special commands of God, then we have a thousand or so private discussions between God and individuals we need to look up and try and start obeying, you know, like holding up our arms so the Red Sea will part, hitting rocks (Once only) with our staff, .... But for God to hold ANYONE "Else" responsible for obedience to those things is horribly unjust ... WE WEREN'T EVEN THERE, right?
If you have any proof otherwise, for any of these, (Although you would really need proof for all of them.) please present it. I am not adding, subtracting, distorting, or ignoring any meaning from the scriptures that I can see, in order to hold fast to any beliefs. To be honest, I really don't care if sin entered into the world by a woman, if that's the case. But I will not create meaning not present in scripture. I will not ignore meaning that is present to hold fast to a belief, nor will I distort anything in an attempt to hold fast to one.
I certainly will not take clear statements from scripture indicating Adam sinned and Eve transgressed, and try and figure out a way that Eve's sins belong to Adam because that's just plain made up out of whole cloth. I'm the only one offering evidence. Not a single person is refuting the evidence, just avoiding all of it and stating, "Our beliefs are correct", while sticking their fingers in their ears and going "La, La, La, La, ..." as loud as they can so they can't see where their beliefs require adding meaning not in scripture, subtracting meaning clearly in scripture, distorting meaning to try and make things fit their beliefs, and making up complete doctrines out of whole cloth that have nothing at all to do with what scripture really does say in order to hold fast to their beliefs.
This issue, on the scale of important issues, is probably in the bottom 5%. It's not that important at all. No families will be destroyed because they changed God's definition of adultery (Which we did, by the way.) resulting in forcing that adultery to occur. (Which most do, by the way.) This is an innocuous study designed to show those who have unquestionably true beliefs whose eyes and ears are closed to ever seriously considering that something other than what they have been taught all their lives, "Might" be true.
According to scripture, almost all gospels being taught within the group that believes they are "Christian" are wrong enough that they will spend eternity in hell. I have no idea how many other things have been distorted nullifying what God did command, and teaching as doctrines the precepts of men. But I'm sure it's far more than I have discovered.
My beliefs are open to change, every one of them. Just "Prove" "ALL" things, and I will hold fast to what is being proven good/true.
True or False: You are open to continuously proving ALL things over and over again, like an open-minded court case whose only goal is to ferret out the truth, no matter what beliefs need to be changed. Including your views on Adam and Eve.
Eve was beguiled (Genesis 3:13) ... Adam was not deceived (1 Timothy 2:14) ... which is why I do not believe Adam was with Eve when satan lied to her and she ate.A&E sinned together when they chose to believe Satan/evil/lies instead of questioning God/good/truth about the corrupt/contradictory “gospel”. (2Thes. 2:10).

praying for you ...You illustrate the need to pray for the gift of logic/harmonization.
that you and I do not agree on 1 out of 5 points concerning the record does not mean I am "denying the obvious message in Genesis 3:6-7".None of what you said justifies denying the obvious message in Genesis 3:6-7:
Please provide Scripture (chapter/verse) which indicates Adam "chose to believe Satan/evil/lies".A&E sinned together when they chose to believe Satan/evil/lies instead of questioning God/good/truth about the corrupt/contradictory lie of the serpent.

There is no verse in Scripture indicating Adam was deceived by satan. Scripture is clear that Eve was the one who was deceived ... confirmed two times ... in Genesis 3:13 when Eve said "the serpent beguiled me and I did eat" and 1 Timothy 2:14 when God said "Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression".
Eve transgressed = Greek parabasis = overstepping, a stepping over the line. Eve was aware of the "line" ("God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it") but was deceived by satan and she ate.
Adam sinned = Greek hamartia = not hitting the target; sin (missing the mark).
.
Well, sin, in the church age is three things. The first is knowing what to do and not doing it. The second is knowing what not to do and doing it anyway. The third is not knowing what to do or not to do and just doing what you want. All 3 are "Nevertheless, Lord, not Your will be done, my will be done.".The issue of sin is of paramount importance. Sin is ignoring GW, so don’t deny the obvious message in Genesis 3:6-7: A&E sinned together when they chose to believe Satan/evil/lies instead of questioning God/good/truth about the corrupt/contradictory “gospel”. (2Thes. 2:10).
they were together when Adam ate ... I do not believe they were together when Eve ate ... and I do not believe "they" ate together ...Okay, I get it. You do not think the point of Gen.3:6-7 is that A&E sinned together.
Only Eve believed satan ...I logically inferred that before they ate the forbidden fruit, they sinned when they chose to believe Satan/evil/lies
instead of questioning God/good/truth about the corrupt/contradictory lie of the serpent.
That you and I are not in agreement in one point does not mean I do not "get that logic".I get that you do not get that logic, okay.
So God’s commands, “You shall not kill”, “You shall not steal”, and “You shall not commit adultery” don’t apply to you because they were given to Moses before you were born?Your God evidently punishes people for disobeying commands not given to them at all, but that were given to specific person before they were ever born. Your God also expects them to obey made up commands of God any person happens to share with them, as disobeying their statements also results in sin.

My God only gives consequences for violations done by that person, not the violations of others, as is just. The command was only given to Adam. PERIOD! Not Adam and Eve. The command was ONLY for him. PERIOD. God says so all three times. Your God is unjust, unrighteous, and evil for what He did to Eve if she received ANY consequence for eating or touching the tree. I gave a command to someone else before you were ever alive, and you disobeyed the command I gave only to him. You sinned. Sorry. Not my God. My God focuses on what Eve "Did". "What is "THIS" that thou hast done?" "She had given of the tree of knowledge and got Adam to Eat.".
What Eve "thinks" all of this is about has nothing to do with whether your God is just or unjust, evil or good, righteous or unrighteous. That is determined solely based on what it is they do or don't do. Giving ANY consequences for obeying or disobeying something that was made up is always unjust, evil and unrighteous, especially when you did give two other commands to everyone at the same time, for everyone to obey. Honestly, that would be a totally A_ _ H o _ _ move. Admit it.
On the other hand, Eve knew what she was created to be, a helper to Adam, and to be the glory of the man. What was the exact moment she failed in the role for which she was created? What was the exact moment her eyes were opened? Was it a sin? No. she didn't violate a command of God. She didn't have a command of God to disobey regarding the tree. She wasn't there. What does God question Eve on, "What is "THIS" that thou has done? What was the ONLY thing GOD, not Eve, refers to with regards to what Eve has done or not done?
Jesus said we can recognize incorrect beliefs by examining every ramification of those beliefs and making sure they make sense. God punishing ANYONE else for not obeying a command only given to Adam, made up or not, by any other being, is evil. It is putting those other beings in the role of God, able to make up commands as they go, and God punishing others for disobeying their words. Yes, Eve was sincere. She believed Adam, or whatever other made up being people want to say gave the information about what God has said. She was deceived and had no idea at all as to the truth.
Should God punish the ones who lied to her, or punish her for believing those who lied to her? Which is just. People lie to you and you believe them. Who should be punished for that? Justice.
And don't forget that through one man sin enters into the world. Not one woman. Sorry. I can't make scriptures, or logic and reason, make Eve the first sinner. It doesn't work at all, with either scripture or the character of God.
I meant to reply to your post instead of indicating a "like" but I don't know how to remove a "like" under the new set up in CC.The NT God judges souls on the basis of the truth that they should have learned (2Thes. 2:10).
Both A&E knew God's will, but they sinned together by ignoring it and not doubting the devil's lie per Gen. 3:1-7.
Everything you added was your own eisegesis, not good hermeneutics.

What you are claiming is that God sent "strong delusion" to Eve so that she would believe the lie of satan ...The NT God judges souls on the basis of the truth that they should have learned (2Thes. 2:10).
What is revealed in Genesis 3:2-3 is that Eve did not "ignore" what God had said. According to Genesis 3:13 Eve acknowledged she was deceived by satan (corroborated in 1 Timothy 2:14). Do you believe Eve was deceived by satan? Both A&E knew God's will, but they sinned together by ignoring it and not doubting the devil's lie per Gen. 3:1-7.
