The ones who may repent include all sinners.
Why many refuse to repent is the mystery,
which Jesus and Paul both mentioned
in Matt. 13:14-15 and Acts 28:26-27.
Gods ways are infinitely higher than ours and they are past finding out, so His ways remain mysterious to us because there's a lot He that has not revealed to us.

Why so many reject the gospel is a mystery to us, but we do know that only those who receive the free gift of grace and faith from God, repent and believe.

As the above verses you cited reveal, they have ears but they don't hear, they have eyes but they don't see etc.

1 Corinthians 12:13

For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
There is the baptism and circumcision of the Spirit, and that of the flesh with hands.

Rom 2:29
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Col 2:11
In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

We are baptized and circumcised inwardly with the inner man, when we receive the Spirit by hearing of faith.

Phl 3:3
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Those who only preach baptism with hands, are the same carnal as those who only preach circumcision of the flesh, and not of the Spirit.

It seems to me that these two verses are using baptism after repentance as the moment of remission.
True, that of the Jews with John, and then that of the Jews with Jesus Christ.

Baptism for remission of sins is no more preached, after that first gospel preaching on Pentecost. Except of course by certain such as you, that come out to preach it to the brethren, else we cannot be saved.

Act 15:1
And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

Of course, us brethren have already been baptized in the Spirit and with water.

Did the thief on the cross do any works or was it faith in Christ alone?
Gal 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ,

Is a man justified by faith alone, and not by grace? Neither is any man justified by faith alone without repentance.

And, The false gospel is faith alone in Christ, not faith in Jesus Christ alone.

In any case, the thief did do a good work before death, by rebuking the others for reviling Jesus, when confessing is own sins. And he did good like Jesus unto death, by no more reviling his crucifiers:

1 Pe 2:22
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth. Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

This is the example by which all Jesus' brethren endure suffering in this life, likewise the converted believer on the cross, who was no more a thief but a faithful son of Israel unto the end.

Part of the problem is King James-ese. Isaiah 45:7 does NOT say that God creates evil. The Hebrew says, "Calamity". Not the same thing.
Ok. translation arguments aside, all of the Scripture are one unified word of God. Separating any Scripture in Genesis from any Scripture in Revelation, is taking Scripture out of context.

Gal 3:2
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

The Spirit is recieved by hearing with faith, not by commanded works, whether of flesh circumcision or water baptism.

So, let's compare some coming to preach water baptism to be saved, with certain first coming to preach flesh circumcision to be saved.

First the Jew:

Act 15:1
And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

Now the Christian:

And certain men taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be baptized after the manner of Peter, ye cannot be saved.

We see here the exact comparison of two commanded works to be saved, both being taught by certain people to the brethren.

Both certain of the Jews first and also some of the Christians are doing exactly the same, in preaching a commanded work: It's taught by some not all; It's taught to be saved; And it's taught to the brethren, that have recieved the Spirit by hearing of faith.

And they are also the same works by men's hands: Flesh circumcision and Water baptism.

Now let's compare the continued idolatrous nature of commanding works to be saved by, first the Jew, then also the Christian:

Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

Except ye be baptized after the manner of Peter, ye cannot be saved.

This is not out of context, nor by mistake. It's well known that some Christians preach Peter's baptism for remission of sins, the same as certain Jews preached Moses' circumcision to be saved.

1Co 1:12
Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

And so, we see that the dividing of the brethren, is by idolizing certain prophets and apostles over one another.

Act 15:24
Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

The commanded work is not the same, but certain teachers dividing and troubling the brethren, is the same: First by Moses' flesh circumcision, and now by Peter's water baptism.

This is why the gift of God, cannot be recieved by commanded works of men, who only obey law, rather than receiving by hearing of faith: It's God who chooses when to give His gift of the Spirit at His own pleasure, not when men demand His gift by works of law, whether flesh circumcision or water baptism.

Also, we must consider Simon the magician, who sought to buy the gift of God, and have power of the Spirit by laying on of hands. Are there not also Acts 2:38 baptizers, who also seek the power of salvation, by laying on of hands in water...?

Can there be any doubt of the temptation of idolatry, in doing a work of salvation over others? Are their own hands not a working part of God's saving glory? They are indeed, for without their hands in water, who can be saved. And also, who can be saved without water?

Can God at all give the Spirit by hearing of faith, where the work of water baptism is commanded, else ye cannot be saved?

Afterall, who can possibly receive the Holy Ghost, that is not yet saved by water baptism...?? The house of Cornelius first, then the Galatian brethren...
You said, and I quote, "The gospel of Jesus Christ however does not preach baptism for remission to the churches of God beyond those Jews at Jerusalem." The scriptures I provided reveal that is not true.

Also, the Galatians scripture you reference did not negate the need to believe and obey the NT water baptism command. What Paul is addressing is the misconception that NT believers are required to obey the OT command of circumcision. Paul reminds them that they received the Spirit through faith. This points directly to the fact that those who believe the gospel message in it's entirety and obey it by faith are guaranteed they will receive the Holy Ghost. The sequence may vary but the promise is set in stone.

Lastly, water baptism in and of itself does not save anyone. It is one of the essential elements associated with the NT rebirth; believing in Jesus, repentance, water baptism in Jesus name for remission of sin and receiving the Holy Ghost. The significance of each of these elements is addressed throughout scripture. And Jesus, Himself, addressed these NT rebirth requirements:

Repentance: "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:5

Water Baptism "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16:15-16

Holy Ghost/Spirit "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

"Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

And Jesus said, "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." John 12:48

Consider Paul reveals mankind can be blamed concerning their spirit, and/or the soul and/or the body. Hummm; repent, be baptized for remission of sin, and be guaranteed to receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Ghost. Selah.

1 Thess. 5:23, "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Gal 3:2

Water baptism in the name of Jesus for remission of sin IS NOT an OT law. Water baptism was not administered in the name of Jesus prior to His death, burial, resurrection, and glorification.

Please consider Jesus prophecy in Luke 24:47. It reveals repentance and water baptism in the name of Jesus for remission of sin would begin in Jerusalem and continue to be preached in all nations (Acts 2:38-42, 8:12-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-7, 22:16...).

The Scriptures of Christ are all one perfectly unified word, even as the Godhead of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Therefore, every Scripture must be taught in context of all other Scripture, not just from verse to verse within a chapter of Scripture. To rightly teach any Scripture, we must do so in context of all Scripture taken together as one complete word.
I agree with this in general, but I would add an important caution. When comparing two passages of Scripture, we must guard against confirmation bias—the tendency to assume our interpretation of the first passage is correct and then “hear” that same truth echoed in the second, even when the second passage is teaching a different, though related, truth. Good exegesis requires us to let each passage speak in its own voice. Otherwise, we risk importing the argument of one text into another and missing the distinct contribution the second text is making.

Your equating one's pointing out what the Word actually reveals as idolizing Peter or any other apostle is ridiculous.

It was Jesus who gave the keys to the kingdom to Peter, (Matt. 16:19) and told him to feed the Lord's lambs, sheep, and again His sheep. (John 21:15-17) And Peter did just that by initially "feeding" the same gospel message to Jews (lambs) and Gentiles (sheep), and assisting in the conversion process of the Samaritans (sheep). The accounts reveal everything that's necessary to know for all of mankind to receive the NT rebirth. (Acts 2:4-42, 8:12-18, 10:43:48, 19:1-7)

But sadly many refuse to accept the truth that is so clearly expressed in the Word of God. And instead accuse those who are sincerely trying to help as being the problem.

Luke 24:47 - and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. *What happened to baptism?

Acts 3:19 - Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. *What happened to baptism?

Acts 5:31 - Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. *What happened to baptism?

Acts 10:43 - All the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins. *What happened to baptism?

Acts 11:17 - If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?” 18 When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance unto life.” *What happened to baptism?

Acts 13:38 - Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; 39 and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. *What happened to baptism?

Acts 15:7 - And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. 8 So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, 9 and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. *What happened to baptism?

Acts 26:18 - to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me. *What happened to baptism? *Hermeneutics.

I'm not going to enter into a vain dispute with a person who doesn't believe what God has said.
In this case, I'm believing what you say about yourself.

You say that you're only seeking to fulfill your own lust, then so you are.

But like all lusting sinners, if you seek the Lord Jesus with all your heart and repent, then He'll deliver you also from your own lust and sin.

Luk 11:9
And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

If we seek evil, we find evil; If we seek good, we find good.

I don't agree with your view that God contradicts Himself, because that makes Him a liar.
I'm not saying you're contradicting yourself, but agreeing with your own testimony.

Journey_man said:
The bible reveals the truth, you reckon "a transgressor seeks the salvation of Jesus". But that's not true, because Gods Word reveals that nobody seeks salvation, and the only thing we seek is to fulfill our lust and sinful desires.

You are still another one of the world seeking to fulfill your own lust, and not seeking God, because you say you can't seek Him. Right?

Romans 3:10-12 10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands There is none who seeks after God. 12 They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”
And so now you're quoting God's rebuke to the atheists, in order to justify only seeking to fulfill your own lust?

Psa 14:1
[[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.]] The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

The Scripture is condemning the unbelieving workers of iniquity on earth, not the righteous saints of God. There's no unbeliever in God, that is seeking Him and doing any good on earth.

Paul quotes the Scripture to declare that all workers of iniquity need the Savior Jesus Christ. No one on earth is doing any good and justified with God, by their own works without faith toward God.

Paul is not quoting the Scripture to condemn himself and the righteous saints of God, who have repented for Jesus' sake, and are now doing good through His faith:

1Co 6:11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Gal 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

So, you certainly can preach for yourself the condemnation of Scripture upon all unrepented evil doers, that do not seek God. But I certainly can preach for myself the Scriptures of blessing, by repenting and believing God to do good, and not evil.

3 John{1:11}
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that is doing good is of God: but he that is doing evil hath not seen God.

Ps 14:1-4 only applies to the foolish workers of iniquity, that do not seek God. The Scripture cannot apply to all people on earth, since God has always kept to Himself a righteous remnant since Abel:

Rom 10:16
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report…For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;

Rom 11:1
I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin…Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace...Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Preaching Ps 14:1-4 for every person on earth at this time, has got to be by far one of the chief examples of false preaching by separating Scripture from Scripture. So as to preach condemnation to all people on earth, as though no person on earth is seeking God and repent, because God Himself says we can't.

But of course, God Himself says any sinner can seek Him, and repent according to His own will:

Isa 55:7
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Eze 33:11
Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Mat 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

1 John 1:8: "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us,"

According to the Lord Jesus, the truth is not in you.
According to you, everyone must have sin like you and say so. I don't have your sin.

According to Scripture, Jesus has no sin in His body. Nor in any bone thereof:

1Jo 3:5
And we know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him is not sinning: whosoever is sinning hath not seen him, neither known him.

Eph 5:30
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Ps 14:1-4 condemns the unbelievers not seeking God, and not doing any good on earth.

1 John 1:5-7 condemns the believers saying they are in the light and have no sin, while walking in darkness.

1Jo 1:5
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1Jo 1:6
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

1Jo 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1Jo 1:8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If you still have your sin, then you are certainly free to apply any condemnation of Scripture to yourself. Having repented of my sin for Jesus' sake, I am certainly free to apply the Scriptures of the blessed to myself in John 1:29, 1 John 3:5, and 3 John 11.

Jhn 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

1Jo 3:5
And we know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him is not sinning: whosoever is sinning hath not seen him, neither known him.
3 John{1:11}
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that is doing good is of God: but he that is doing evil hath not seen God.

Nevertheless, this we know, that Ps 14:1-4 & 1 John 1:5-7, do not at all apply to John 1:29, 1 John 3:5, and 3 John 11, and visa versa...No one can possibly be both condemned by Scripture of God and justified by Jesus Christ, at the same time.

Once again, it's the great error of separating Scripture from Scripture, for anyone to say they still have their sin, and the Lamb of God has taken away their sin. Nor can anyone dwell in the light, and also walk in darkness...

God never admired any person as much as the murderer and adulterer David.
Only the wicked god of this world admires someone while committing adultery and murder.

Jesus Christ justifies them that repent of all such sins and trespasses, which David did with his whole heart:

Psa 51:2
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

The Lord Jesus said, in Matthew 9:13 NKJV, "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance"

The righteous by law alone, or by faith alone, are them that repent not to be righteous with Jesus Christ.

We that repent of our sinning for Jesus' sake are now His righteousness on earth.

2Co 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Rom 6:18

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

That's me, the Lord Jesus came for people like me, you're obviously a righteous man so you have no need of Him.

If you are still a sinner in need of repentance, then yes, that's certainly you Jesus comes for to repent. And so, repent, and He will also make you His righteousness on earth as us that have repented.

Acts{3:19}
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Rom 3:25
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Rom 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

A gospel that does not begin with repentance, does not end with righteousness.

There is the baptism and circumcision of the Spirit, and that of the flesh with hands.
The circumcision is “in the Spirit”, not “of the spirit”, and certainly not “of the Spirit”.

You would do well to pay closer attention to the little words. They are important.

Is a man justified by faith alone, and not by grace? Neither is any man justified by faith alone without repentance.
Who claims that anyone is saved by faith Nd not by grace? Who claims that anyone is saved by faith alone without repentance?

This looks like more of your meaningless ranting where you invent beliefs so you can rail against them.

Pardon me, but would you be so kind as to tell me more about these mysterious ones who "repent, seek God, and find salvation via faith in Christ".
Mark{1:15}
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Acts{3:19}
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Deu 4:29
But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Heb 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Rev 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

We are the ones that repent to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I'm just wondering why they end up finding salvation, while the vast majority of mankind remains condemned.
Rom 2:5
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Mat 11:20
Then began Jesus to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

Rev 2:21
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Rev 16:11
And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

We are not the vast majority that repent not.

Mat 7:13
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

I'm just trying to understand these special people and what sets them apart from the common riffraff.
2Co 6:17
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Rev 18:4
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Heb 7:26
For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

There is no mystery here in the Scriptures, but very simple and plain for anyone to read and understand and choose life or death.

If you're so upset about being the unrepentant sinners set apart from Jesus Christ, then do as He commands and repent, and His promise will be for you also. Jesus has died for sins, was buried for 3 days, and is risen again for the sole purpose of giving His life to them that repent.

Phl 3:8
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,...That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

If you find you cannot repent, then seek and ask the Lord to grant you His repentance unto life. It's how we all come to the knowledge of the truth and do it.

But searching for Scriptures of condemnation to apply to yourself without repentance, doesn't save nor justify anyone. Believing the Scriptures that condemn us, is not believing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Believing if we repent, then we also shall not be condemned, is believing the gospel of Jesus Christ...

The ones who may repent include all sinners.
Why many refuse to repent is the mystery,
which Jesus and Paul both mentioned
in Matt. 13:14-15 and Acts 28:26-27.
This is very true. Giod Himself does not know why sinners refuse to repent to had His life:

Deu 5:29
O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Ezek 18:31
Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Deu 32:29
O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Paul calls it the mystery of iniquity. The self-imposed bondage of death before the grave. I've known it for myself before I learned the answer is not in making myself repent, but in seeking and asking Jesus Himself to grant me the repentance in need:

Acts{11:18}
When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the nations granted repentance unto life.

Heb 2:17
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

But of course, if someone is hardened not to even believe in seeking God, nor even asking for His help to do what is necessary for us to be saved...

So, we see the mystery is not what we must do to be saved, but as you say why not? Afterall, Jesus is the One who died for our sins, and rose again for our justification. All we need do is repent of doing evil. Is that such an evil thing for God to command for His dear Son's sake?

Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Read Acts 10:43 again. It clearly states that through the name of Jesus remission of sin takes place. The NT water baptism command reveals the connection between the name of Jesus and remission of sins.

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
There is no dispute about the name of Jesus to be baptized for. The dispute is water baptism for remission of sins, that is no more preached after Acts 2:39. Not by any apostles, including Peter.

So read Acts 10 again, of how receiving the holy Ghost by hearing of faith, is the reason Peter does not forbid water to baptize Cornelius and his household in the name of Jesus.

Or, don't read it again. Since you haven't so far taught from Scripture how anyone can receive Jesus Christ without having sins remitted, then you likely won't. Which is because it's not possible.

Remission of sins is by receiving Jesus Christ, whose Holy Spirit washes away all sins. Which is the baptism and circumcision of the Spirit, not that of men's hands on the flesh and in the water.

You said, and I quote, "The gospel of Jesus Christ however does not preach baptism for remission to the churches of God beyond those Jews at Jerusalem." The scriptures I provided reveal that is not true.

Not on this post. I said, and I quote:

I've responded to your every lead, and now it's time for you to do the same courtesy. This is a debate between two people, not just throwing things up against a deaf wall.

Water baptism in the name of Jesus for remission of sin IS NOT an OT law.
Water baptism is NT law. And so, certain people preaching commanded works to be saved, whether OT or NT law, is not commanded by the apostles of the Lord Jesus.

Choosing one apostle about all others, is certain people preaching idolatry to the brethren.

We preach to the brethren to keep all the commandments of God, not idolizing one commanded work above all others to be saved by.

You've made a sidestepping response, but at least it's sort of a response.
