Thank you very much tourist. I figured I'd try and find a place where I could connect with other Christian since I don't really get to do that much in real life these days.

This is an excellent place to connect with other Christians. In fact, I married one of them who is also a member of this site. Connections. :)

😂smoko is what we call tea time. You don’t have to be a smoker to have smoko. And you can make a u-turn any time, any where😉
I was reasonably certain that smoko wasn't referencing smoking. :) My first impression was that smoko was referring to cooking food outside on the patio. Now I feel like throwing another shrimp on the barbie. That's an Australian term I believe. Or may from New Zeeland. I forget. :)

Jip, that is from Aus. The funny thing is I am actually originally a South African so I've learnt to speak the "Aussie" lingo. Though I still struggle with the "barbie" because to me it's a braai. A barbie is some doll I used to play with when I was a kid :-)

I am going to incorporate "Jip" and possibly 'braai' in my vehicular. Or is that vernacular. Obviously, I'm a little lite on the lingo.

Well you can I corporate your braai into your vehicular if you really want to but the jip would have to got to the vernacular I’d say😂

Years ago I spoke with a SA that lived in Aus on this site. Didn't expect to see that again.
Welcome.
