I just repented & rededicated my life to Christ in July, 2021. Wondering if anyone is having any dreams about being in the spiritual tribe of Benjamin?!

Welcome. I'm in the family of God.
Welcome. I'm in the family of God.
I do not understand what you mean... Gen 9:3 " Everything moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things." & Matth 4:4 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” & Rom 14:
The Weak and the Strong
14 Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. 2 One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. 3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. 4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.

This is to address your meat statement; for I know that I am the Lord's, but would rather inquire of others if they are dreaming, as I am dreaming?

Welcome! :)

Not at all. Who is this benjamin character? What is the importance? Brass tacks please.

If you know who Jacob (Israel) was in the Bible, Benjamin was one of his 12 sons, thus establishing the 12 tribes of Israel. Benjamin was also the only full blood brother of Joseph, who interpreted Pharaoh's dreams and was used by God to save the entire world from starvation during a famine.

The Tribe of Benjamin is described as the "warring tribe," "taking his prey in the morning and dividing the spoils in the afternoon."

(Greetings to the Original Poster, @JloveYouJesus2021, by the way -- welcome to CC!)

When the OP says that she identifies with the Tribe of Benjamin, I am thinking that perhaps she believes God has called her to spiritual warfare, but that's just my own guess.

I am hoping she'll come back and clarify. :)

Saul of Tarsus, later known as Paul, was a Benjamite :)

Saul was also the name of the Benjamite who became the first king of Israel :)

8 instances of Benjamite mentions in the KJV OT

Judges 20:43 Thus they inclosed the Benjamites round about, and chased them,
and trode them down with ease over against Gibeah toward the sunrising.

Judges 19:16 And, behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even, which
was also of mount Ephraim; and he sojourned in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites.

1 Chronicles 27:12 The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the
Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Judges 20:36 So the children of Benjamin saw that they were smitten: for the men of Israel gave
place to the Benjamites, because they trusted unto the liers in wait which they had set beside Gibeah.

Judges 20:40 But when the flame began to arise up out of the city with a pillar of smoke,
the Benjamites looked behind them, and, behold, the flame of the city ascended up to heaven.

Judges 20:35 And the LORD smote Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the
Benjamites that day twenty and five thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword.

1 Samuel 22:7 Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;

1 Samuel 9:4 And he passed through mount Ephraim, and passed through the land of Shalisha, but they found them not: then they passed through the land of Shalim, and there they were not: and he passed through the land of the Benjamites, but they found them not.

I guarantee there will be some things in the Bible that will most likely shock you.

It's definitely not a book for the faint of heart, but that's one of the amazing things about it -- God directed His divinely inspired authors to tell it like it is and not to pull any punches.

Congrats on getting a Bible -- that's awesome!

Let us know how the reading goes and feel free to share any questions.

I don't know much about the different tribes if Israel, but I do like the verses that tell us that we are a special people set apart for Him.:) Welcome and God bless you.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

This one was my dream. I was in a city with members I didn't know & saw smoke in a distance. About 4 of us ran to the outskirts of the city, into the desert & started running for safety. We were told that we had another half mile to go before we could jump to safety. I noticed the others were jumping on the sides of the mountain with no issues & I became scared, that's when a man named Ben came up & started showing me how to maneuver on the side of the mountain & every time I would fall backwards & lose my balance, he would be there to push me back up to keep going. When I got up, God told me to look for Benjamin in the bible. I didn't jknow that Judges 20:40 would pretty much be my dream. Thanks for sharing all the scriptures with me.

You are welcome! There are a lot more... those were just a few ;)

Interesting dream! :D

Nice having you join the fellowship here at CC:) You have already started an interesting Thread, lol. God bless you and your family!

Hi, my name is Hone, I've just been accepted to CC. can I ask why it is so important to belong to any tribe ?, I ask this because, is it not more important to be a brother to Christ, and a child of GOD, I understand that knowledge is rewarding, but wisdom to use that knowledge is priceless, people are easily led to focus on relevant material that spirals from our creator, but not potential to our walk of righteousness, the fact is, if we accept GOD as our father in heaven, Jesus as our saviour on earth, and have been born again through baptism, then we need only to follow Christ's example: Love and praise the one true GOD, give love, peace, and harmony to others. GODblessusall.
