Well, that is just ridiculous. Sorry, but I wouldn't allow it to be done. There is no need to wash your private area every single day, especially if you're lying in a bed with clean sheets.
I cant tell if its naivete, ignorance, blnid fundamentalism, or an april fools prank...bit people cant actually believe some of this nonsense can they? We are talking medical professionals, not perverts.
Exactly, as I pointed out before the number one cause of bed sores is urine breaking down the skin. Faeces has the same effect and catheters need to be regularly cleaned to try and avoid infection.OK - not in the medical profession, so someone help me if I am in error: it's done if the patient can't do it him/herself. This means they are most likely immobile. Many may be bedridden and can't even make it to the bathroom. Some will have catheters, enemas, and those flat adult diaper things underneath them. All that stuff needs to be cleaned DAILY.
Then I hope you are never my patient, those beds have plastic covers on the mattresses, it makes you sweat. People get smelly in hospital.
I really do hope this is your idea of a joke. Bed baths are in no way a humiliation to the patients, patient dignity is very important. Not me. Bed baths are a humiliation to patients. I personally would not allow it.
All humans are perverts.

Because of the attitude of the nurse and the patient. I have never encountered a patient who would rather stay dirty. If a patient is able to wash themselves they are encouraged to do so but if they are unable to then help will be provided. I suggest you learn a bit more. You're kidding, right? The nurse gets the patient to bend their knees and spread their legs and then washes their private area. How is that not a humiliation?

I pity the woman that marries a man that is so insecure, he worries what's going through the mind of her doctor during an exam.

Yep, you're right! Having a problem with another man sticking his fingers and his face in my wife's vagina makes me a insecure and possessive husband. How awful of me.
