God gives birth to people from out of His Spirit. When He gives birth to them, they become His offspring. The new life that spiritual birth creates is not a second physical life. It is a new spiritual life.

You seem to think the Scriptures say that baptism, a physical ceremony organized and performed by humans on humans, plays an indispensable role in creating a new spirit inside of people. But this concept is indefensible because the creation of life is solely in God's perview. People obtain life when God gives them life (John 5:21).

You seem to think the Scriptures say that baptism, a physical ceremony organized and performed by humans on humans, plays an indispensable role in creating a new spirit inside of people. But this concept is indefensible because the creation of life is solely in God's perview. People obtain life when God gives them life (John 5:21).

We do our part and God does His part. Our part is to believe the seemingly foolish gospel that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead. God's part is to forgive our sins and give us eternal life. These elements are clearly laid out in Scripture...

God saves those who believe. He created the paradigm, and He executes it.

Unknown. Gen 6:3 indicates limits. Salvation WITHOUT "conviction of SIN" appears to be impossible, and Rom 10:17 indicates the source of that conviction.
