KJV only people are incorrigible.
You believe in loss of salvation..........KJV kicks your butt to the curb for that thought.
So you basically are not able to recognize the tons of Conditional Salvation verses in the Bible.
That's kindergarden teaching to me. I knew early on when I took to studying the Bible that there are tons of conditional verses.
Only a person who wants to justify sin believes in saying unbiblical statements like believe on the finished work of the cross and other such nonsense (Which is a common saying among those who believe similar to you on this topic). Yes, we need to believe the gospel for salvation. That is how salvation starts. But most in your camp are just not able to see the verses that I already showed you. They either go quietly ignored like you just did with them or they twist them like a pretzel.
Mirror, you need a mirror.
KJV only acts 16:31 ~~Believe in the KJV and you shall be saved, you and all that bow down to KJV.
So was Moses bowing down to God's word when he knew had the perfect set of God's word with the stone tablets that had the ten commandments on it? No. But somehow in their liberal age thinking that one has a perfect set of God's word just means one will bow down to it like it is an idol, when that is not what is going on. Granted, we do revere God's words. The Bible tells us this.
"Thy word
is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it." (Psalms 119:140) (KJV).
You probably don't know this because some of your Modern Bibles say promises are tested/tried (NIV, ESV), or your word is refined (LSB).
In fact, call me a little suspicious but when I discover 18 verses that attack verses like this, it leads me to believe your side has an agenda to push. In fact, most in the Modern Bible Movement believe that it is the cardinal doctrines, ideas, general stories, promises, etc. are preserved and not His precise words. Strange how your very Bible caters to the very belief in the majority of that movement holds to. That's called subtle conditioning. Check out my free PDF that highlights 17 of them at
www.affectionsabove.com. It's in the PDF on the 77 changed doctrines in Modern Bibles.
