Exactly, but I don't think that anybody got it. When I was in high school, I did a report on Chang and Eng, the Siamese twins in that photo. As I thought on that thread's title, "How long have you been single?," I remembered that photo from my report and the looks on their faces. It was intended to say "What?" in response to that question.

I understood it!

I know who Chang and Eng were, and thought your post was quite clever. 😎😬🤓

I have been enjoying reading yo posts. 🙂

Are you a prophet? We just had our first run-in on another thread.
I've had run ins with one or two on here , nothing serious though , I have one or two on ignore but , I would never name them . Don't want to hurt their feelings or influence others . I don't have them on ignore because I don't like them , I have them on ignore because I don't think that they like me . I consider everyone on here part of my family in Christ , even those on ignore . Not keen on naming and shaming 😬😞 .

I'm not keen on naming and shaming either. That is why I followed up with a sincere apology.

no technically it was the title the evil spirit gave to all the demons it was a part of. it is a roman military term.

However, I sell smoked ribs I have a side hustle selling ribs. I think using the Legion/demon/swine cast out by Jesus and being smoked is brilliant advertising and extremely funny. I would agree it's dark humor. But what i will tell you is this. I couldn't care less if you don't find it funny or in good taste. I don't live my life based on other people's feelings or preferences... You seem to be implying something with your comments. I actually prefer those who believe there is something sinister to believe that. It keeps me from having to deal with low IQs.

What i would suggest is that you learn the lesson usually taught in childhood which is: Let people be who they are. So while i am certainly not a saint, I also am not the literal Legion. I am a human not unlike you who is walking a path.

@legion, I've enjoyed reading this thread and several of your other posts around the forum.

I've stated this in another thread, but I don't automatically think of the story of the demons and the pigs whenever I hear "Legion."

Rather, I think of how Jesus, nearing the time of His death, said, "Do you not think that I could appeal to my Father, and that He would send 12 legions of angels to defend me?"

I do understand people automatically thinking of the demon/pig story when seeing your avatar, but I often wonder why "legion" is not remembered in the context of angels (in regards to Jesus' statement.)

I've been friends with many people over the years whom other Christians automatically assumed were heathens due to appearances, but if they got to know them, they might find out that they are some of the most inspiring people I have ever met.

But that's just me.

And if we were closer, my friends and I would love to visit your restaurant. :)

Thank you.

🤯

Of course!

And I'm sorry for my typo in my reply -- I meant to say I've been enjoying reading YOUR posts, of course, not just "yo posts," lol.

But I was typing on my phone and tend to make even more mistakes then usual when doing so. :)

No need to apologize. I just addressed your "yo" in a profile post that I left you.

I checked out his website the other day, but I couldn't find any pictures of the food. The ribs did sound like they would taste good.

Well all that sounds fine and dandy but..........your name is a bit of a give away 😈 😲😲😲 😆😆😆

Technically it's not a restaurant it's my patio as I said it was a side gig I take orders during the week and on Monday and Thursdays I typically smoke the ribs or whatever

Are you even in my area

Nope, but as I said, our group would place an order if we were! 🙂

That could just be human psychology which tends to remember and/or focus more on the negative things than the positive

But actually the story as you read it from the Bible it's a great shock effect when he turns around and answers Jesus my name is Legion for we are many and being that I have an affinity for horror I thought that was a great story

A Keurig is a clear status symbol just like owning a yellow Corvette only it's a slightly cheaper but it means the same thing I am now significant because I have a Keurig
Are we talking about a coffee maker?

She'll be here to take an outlaw, back alive or maybe dead.
And she'll say it doesn't matter, 'cuz she's after legions ribs.

Quote:'Keurig coffee machines are incredibly popular, serving as the go-to single-serve brewer for an estimated 40 to 45 million households across the United States and Canada. The brand holds roughly 41% of the US single-serve coffee machine market and significantly outsells its main pod competitor, Nespresso, in the American market'

Just throwing that in the mix
