I don't have any plans for my beard Cat. It'll keep growing until I get tired of it. Thanks for your nice compliment.

As for the world? Everywhere pretty much. There are so many beautiful and adventurous places. I just go where I'm sent.

Mine: August, cause there are no holidays. So it' the holiday month from holidays. lol But honestly, I think my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving day, because I usually get to spend it with family that I don't get to see much.

Sure Nichole. I'll give the super duper quick version but I'm happy to answer any further questions if more details are wanted.
Raised in a christian family, always remember being God conscious, asked Jesus to save me at about 4 years old, asked for the the Holy Spirit at about 5 or 6 and started speaking in tongues and some other supernatural things happening like seeing angels, got disenchanted (excuse the choice of word) with church as I didn't see Him there like He is in the bible, asked God to be real to me like He is in the bible or not at all as I wasn't interested in following a dead or distant God, met God in a powerful and personal way at 17, Started active 'ministry' and saw signs wonders miracles deliverance's and so on, God called me to His service and life continued. And now I'm 29. :) There ya go. A super squished up personal testimony.

Great question Jullianna. Um, the first one that comes to mind would be, ''Don't wait for the anointing to come upon you. Instead, live in the anointing''. It changed a lot of how I view and do Christianity and live my faith. But there are lots of other things that have been influential and inspiring for me. ''Unless you're living for something bigger than yourself, you're not really living''. ''As we come closer to God, first we get burnt by His fire, and then, we become the fire''. ''Believing you can do something is not faith, that is self confidence. Faith is knowing it can't be done unless God acts and having confidence that He will''. ''Not knowing how to is not reason enough for not doing what needs to be done when God has told you to''. and I'll stop now.

This thread is turning into "interview Cheekygrin", but I'm going to have to add to that.
Cheekygrin: First, you seem like a really cool guy. Are you a minister or missionary full-time? As in, you don't work a day job. I mean we're all called to serve, but you know what I'm getting at...I hope. If you said that and I missed it, my apologies. It is somewhat late here...and I'm hungry..that's my excuse. :)

I suppose I could. haha. I am probably going to eat icecream after I post this. :)

Umm...I can heat stuff up..lol... I'm an expert microwave chef. I can also boil water. Are you all impressed yet? :P
Hmm. My tastebuds think I make really good scrambled eggs. I put cheese, butter, and pepper in with them. Yum.

Yeah man, I totally get what you mean. I am called to full time ministry and I know that means I will be supported by others in various way however, I feel uncomfortable about the whole finances issue so I've kinda cheated there and just ask God for anything I need. I know I have to get over myself at some stage and let other people input into my life as they feel led but it's not something I have to deal with right now :D
So what that means in my life right now is I walk with and trust God and He provides. That gives me the freedom of time to live and serve as He directs without secular employment restrictions.

ritt, if you had a choice to be a major candidate's personal aide or to be a professor at a university teaching poli-sci, or, whatever your favorite subject to teach is, what would you choose? Or, would you father teach política science in High school, or, hmmmm, would you even maybe prefer to teach the elementary kids the politics behind the Looney Tunes cartoons and classic Disney feature animations :D

This is not a question. Julieannie, I said that you would make a good police detective because you have both been in the field and on the floor (legal researcher) :D That is cool though if you father be out with the bad guys instead. More power to you. And, LOL, that 'more power' is surely from God.
But teaching at the academy, that seems like would be fun too. I bet you would be funny to have as a teacher, like Lou Gosset Jr.in Officer And AGentleman . Oh wait, that's a drill seargeant. Well, you'd be real good at that too :D

Matthew 6:33 (ESV) "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

God's provision is always directly linked to God's purpose. While you can be sure that there will be times of testing, there's no need to worry about finances when you know are walking in God's will for your life.

I personally recommend reading George Muller's autobiography (journal). He was a German pastor / missionary who started and maintained several orphanages in England during the 1800's. The man started with absolutely nothing but prayer and expanded greatly on nothing but prayer. I believe the orphanage is still in business today. A truly awesome read!

Mr. Green: Yes, it's challenging at times but it's absolutely worth it to see the progress that he makes daily. He has a trach and a feeding tube. He's expected to fully recover one day though. It's been very strange and absolutely gut wrenching to learn how to tend to a lot of his medical needs and what to do in an emergency, which there have been a few. The family has opted to not have in-home nursing so that's why they have me. lol I'm no nurse. Changing out a 2 year old's trach is intense, man! :D
Yes, I am absolutely blessed to be able to take my daughter with me to work. The folks I work for live right next door to me. I don't do it all by myself, I go and spend the day with their whole family, minus her husband. No one person can really ever be alone with him in case of an emergency. There are 4 other kids in their family so a total of 6 are always running around the house. I help homeschool them and keep the household functioning. My main job, I think, is to keep my friend sane. haha

Hi Green :) Thanks so much for the question and compliment! ;)

Iin all honesty, my thoughts are usually random and running in 10 different directions!! Someone asked me the other day what I like and I was like, "Um... museums... food... sharks...travel... alligators..." And they said, "Whoa, that's about as random as you can get!" :D

My "secret" is to pulling it is that I've been writing letters to people since I was about 9 years old and have done it for a lifetime. My grade school teachers always taught me to make a general outline of what I wanted to say and I still do that today, even with just a few words as a guide (I do this when I write threads, too.) I have to admit that I hate academic writing, even though it was always my best subject, especially in grad school (let's not talk about other subjects, like advanced statistics! :rolleyes:)

I've talked about this before, but I spent a lot of time writing inmates and the best compliment someone ever gave me was that they said my letters were like having me sit down with them and talk with them. I'm very thankful for God's gift of communication, even though I can always use more practice :).

Choice 1. I could never be a professor or teacher of any kind. Educating people is fun to a certain extent, but the thought for reclining in some faculty lounge when I could be getting my hands dirty 24/7 would be torture.

Mind you, if I am choosing choice 1, I would be White House Chief of Staff after engineering a major presidential victory. I'd love that job.

I would like to start off by saying: I am not unemployed because I got laid off, just wanted to make that known. I quit my job because I was in a spiritually dark place, and was falling futher and further away from God. I was painfully aware of that and it was the last thing that I wanted to be happening in my life, I was disgusted with who I had become and I had to do something about it, with the Lords help of course. I quit with the intent of working full-time to seek out God's will in my life and to bring myself back into obedience and the will of God.

I have been focusing on bettering myself and being a better representative of the Lord. I have been getting deep into the Word, meditating on it and applying it to my life. I have somewhat isolated myself for the past few months from any outside influences. Another goal was to have my faith restored, which God has most definately done. I have never felt so close to the Lord in my entire life. I feel that I am to the point now where I can come out of isolation and not be influenced by the evil in this world. I am all suited up in my armor, got my sword sharpened, and am ready for battle. <---reference to Ephesians, not a literal statement

As far as volunteering goes, I would love to get into volunteer work! Not really sure how to get into it, but it would be as benefitial to me as it would be for others. Got any suggestions?

You have obviously never been to a teacher's lounge as a sub. or teacher, because then you would realize, that teacher's don't take breaks, even when they are on a break.
