Well it doesn't in NZ. I think everyone kind of stopped logging in since some teens thought it be. a good idea to put gang rape videos and shooter videos on there and live stream it.

You could use tindr, but again, people get led on and deceived by that one too, just gotta be savvy. I never used it though, am not interested.

Will you use tindr? Or just meet someone from work. All the people I met at work were like children and old people because I was serving them lol.

Also, does it matter what race they were? Why did you say mexican/cauc and black? As long as they were male and female, does it actually matter?

It doesn't it just has like buttons. AFAIK haven't been on in years.

It had Facebook Marketplace and business pages and 'sponsored content' and nonsensical feeds, and probably a lot of cat videos.

Well, the FB app version has a free dating feature. For some reason, you can only access it on the app, not on desktop.

It's basically like the usual dating apps, where you can write a description, post pictures of yourself, mark off your religion, hobbies, etc.

ok people can just lie on there like they do everywhere else.

I only use whats app with people I've met in real life.

I don't trust any dating apps. Have you used it?

Well why not say it, I don't think they'd be offended, and rn gotta watch the live Dove Awards on TBN🙌💕

Yeah, I've used it. One of my friends found his now-wife on there.

I've used other dating apps and sites, too. I didn't have any problems with it, really. I've found people on there that I ended up going on dates with. I mean, that's all a dating app is, a place to find people so you can meet them in person for a first date, and then decide whether or not to go on more dates if you find each other interesting enough.

Personally, I've never found anyone on there who's lied about anything, but that's just me.

? I just wondered why. I don't know if they'd be offended but maybe its better than saying a 20 year old guy and a 48 year old gal got together. IDK. Do they speak different languages, is one from Mexico, or are they both Americans or just live in the same town.

I guess it would be like saying a Fijian/Caucasian guy met a Brown gal in NZ. Nobody talks that way here, I just find it a bit strange. Nobody ever uses the word Caucasian unless they the Police and are criminal profiling!

oh well maybe its cos you are a guy and while women are generally honest, I found its the guys can be total liars. And that isn't just my experience, that is a universal experience a lot of women have here.

But mostly here that one (tindr) is used for hookups i.e prostitution. But at least with prostitution, the gals are getting paid. And not being trafficked somewhere else as you might find them on some of the other online dating sites.

However I do think people just don't get married here, (in nz) because its so unbelievably expensive.

Yes well, I'm not certain it's the 'interesting' thing as a criteria for dating. It's probably more (for is women/ladies) whether that person is a good guy who is safe to be with. You can spark up a friendship anywhere really.

But if you going out with someone you never met before, ALONE, maybe at night...?? IDK. It might be you need a bit more info than whats written on dating site. Like maybe some other people they know who can vouch for them?

I went to see Joyce Meyer when she was here and loved it. She is one of my favorites. I think I have one of her books too, I can't remember. I think it's called battlefield of the mind. It was 20 years ago.

The one Christian I met who was probably a bonafide one, lived across town far away, and said he was like a sound engineer for his presybeterian church. it was funny because I was like, why are you on this dating site? Isn't there any single gals in your church. Then he was like why are YOU on this dating site.

lol

But other than the 'going to church' thing I don't remember having anything in common with him. Actually I don't have anything in common with any of the ones I met. I just thought maybe could bond over SOMETHING rather than a cup of coffee or the pressure to make babies?

I had that one and found it helpful. Good to know she helps men too.

It was probably because I was dealing with mental issues and she understood how it was a 'battlefield of the MIND' (which is also a spiritual battle) that can be mostly what people struggle with. Other Christians might just refer mental issues to a doctor or pysychiatrist to prescribe them something. While that can help, it's not going to go away without knowing how to handle it spiritually.

Also, women are often gaslit a lot i.e told what to think. As if we don't have minds of our own.

@zeroturblence are you going to play by asking a question

Sorry I just seem to be posting too much in this thread, I'm not too keen on talking politics actually.

But what if out of nowhere.... your date starts talking about politics! On the first date! Would you still go out with them if they said they voted for the opposing party, especially one you don't like?? Or would you debate them and try to convince them the one you are partisan to is the ONLY one anyone should vote for and this country is going to the dogs and actually......I SHOULD BE PRESIDENT/CEO/PRIME MINISTER because I know better. What if they made a racist remark? And then they said 'oh not you' ...would you just ghost them or would you say, um that is extremely offensive to me because my family is....

It was actually a women's conference that I attended, but it all applied to anyone since it was all scripturally based. And I also prefer scripture or listening to sermons to work out anxiety and depression and stuff. I look to psychologists for practical help like activating the vagus nerve and stimulating the parasympatheic nervous system.

I have a rule not to talk about politics, but I would already have a sense of where someone stood before asking them to go on a date. The last time I dated was before anyone cared about politics. Today I am sure no woman who isn't on the same side as me on politics would be interested in me at all just based on my appearance.

It would be hard to make a racist remark about Asians or Filipinos here since most people here are Asian. Anyway I would ask her why she said that and I'm good at getting a sense of people before meeting them so I would probably not even be dating someone who would make a racist remark. And I wouldn't go on a totally blind date.

I don't know what the game is.

Oh and if the racist remark was funny I would just laugh. I sometimes told filipino jokes to my friend and even made one up myself.I only know 2 I think, plus the one I made up which is just funny because it's so dumb.
