Id be a bit nervous about having to rate two kids performance like that when they have such a sob story : p I mean imagine if they were bad, after all that, with the emotional story and video. Would have been a bummer : p

The song already has an impact on me (even the lyrics which I usually dont consider with music, though Im not even sure they were meant to have that effect when written : p) and also seeing them play it live adds onto it, too. Can see the emotion they put into it. (I have a thing with seeing people play instruments : p)
I may not literally cry, but it definitely causes feelings when I watch it : p

Actually there's registration type process before american Idol. They already know if the contestant is good or bad. I'm willing to bet the judges know too. It's a stacked deck :3

I wasnt, and the reason was because it looked like people were blown away by a woman who isnt "beautiful" by worldly standards could sing well. I was actually more annoyed with it than anything.

Admittingly, I didnt actually see the video when it happened, but instead saw a video of people talking about it, explaining how when she came on stage, people had an attitude of "oh, here we go" based on the way she looked : p If she had a back story I did not hear about it : p

But, yeah, the way a person looks has nothing to do with their talent or ability : p

That was hilarious : p I cant help but wonder about how Weber feels about these videos, haha.
I kinda feel bad for him, though. I dont think he can help his facial expression and low tone voice : p Poor guy. Hope hes a good humored person : p
