Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I have had pneumonia all spring beginning with a very strange respiratory infection.
I've been able to recover 90% according to how I felt the other day. I got the energy to mow the entire lawn the day before yesterday. I felt encouraged, but was laboring to breath deeply. It was a struggle, but needed done. Since then I have relapsed. I can walk but my O2 saturation is low. Lot's of brain fog especially after exertion.
The worst part is sleep as I have upper respiratory issues at the same time which makes breathing through my nose/sinuses difficult.

Please pray for my immediate recovery.
I can't afford to lose more work.

Pneumonia or not, O2 sat is a problem. Mine drops to the low 80s when I lay down and is in the low 90s the rest of the time. I sleep with 2.5 liters of O2 at night and when I exercise. That makes a big difference in my daily activities.

Did you see a doctor? Don't play around with pneumonia.. and low O2 is dangerous. You may need some strong antibiotics.

Thank you both for your concerns. 🙂👍🏼

I'm not using an oxometer Billyd. I can tell by my symptoms when it's up and when it's low. I'm glad you exercise and shared that recommendation.
We know exercise increases circulation and an additional benefit when you breath through the nose and get the heart rate up, the lining of the vasculature produces Nitrous Oxide. We are created in an amazing way that O² when it circulates through the nasal cavity carries N²O to the brain and extra O². Not trying to get too technical, just knowing a little of how it works can motivate us to do what we remember.
Nitrous Oxide causes the blood vessels to relax. That has positive effects for circulation, etc.
I know we aren't doing a Consultation, but just sharing some insights the Lord has shared with us.

Here's one more for consideration, the Amino acid Arginine on an empty stomach (or a little carbs) with water also helps the body produce N²O. This should not be used at the same time as protein.

Yes Jacko, it certainly can become dangerous, I agree and appreciate you.

I will certainly pray for your breathing issues to be resolved by God.

Thank you Tourist.

One good treatment I just remembered was something we all could have on hand .
I'll mention it along with my protocol for self treatment.
I have an 8 oz Saline Nasal Rinse Bottle. I just used it in the following way, for anyone interested, I'll explain.

Add ¹ /3 teaspoon of sea salt.
I chose Dead Sea Salt
I added a 1/3 teaspoon of baking soda (aluminum free)
Fill it with tepid warm water
Shake until dissolved
Bend over the bathtub or sink.
Keep throat closed and don't breath in water
Head down and align applicator with one nostril
Squeeze gently until the saline solution come out of the other.
Switch sides and repeat back and forth, blowing gently between applications.
If anyone has questions, please read it again slowly and then I'll be happy to answer.

This cleans the sinuses easily and better than anything else I've tried.

Sanitize the bottle immediately and dry completely.
Rinse with sterile water before reuse.

I hope this helps anyone else who suffers from sinus challenges.

You can try to take a sudafed as bronchodilator with a advi for inflammation.

Thanks

I quit using Kleenex because the chemicals in it were causing my nose to swell. I just got done washing cotton handkerchiefs and feels better.

I appreciate you mentioning a bronchodilator and antiinflammatory. I don't have those, but I'm using Fenugreek and Fennel seeds in tea and swallow helps sooth irritated mucus membrane and is a natural expectorant.
I add fresh sliced ginger root as an additional antiinflammatory and blood thinner especially with plenty of water/electrolytes to stay hydrated.

Thanks 👍🏼

Will pray for you brother! I don't think I've had that experience but I've got your back! I also think you are very active. Maybe you got too active too quickly from your previous recovery? Maybe slow down and rest a little bit? Ask God if you need rest. He will know better than me.

How are you doing today?
I was just going to ask the same thing. We hope you get through this @HealthAndHappiness
Look up, God is going to bless you today.
It's a beautiful day!
I still can't get enough sleep, but at 8AM looked outside and am so grateful for the view of my Rhododendron in full bloom.
It's sunny and getting some tasks done. Just finished reading Colossians with new insights.
I can't complain.

I do appreciate the concern and prayers so much!
There are deadlines and things that have to get done.
I just took time to start making my meal for the day and stopped to lie down a little bit. I got strangely lightheaded and dizzy.

*I didn't stoop down and stand up.
*Checked pulse....strong and normal
*Breathing. ....not labored but caught from time to time
*Pupils .....normal
Well hydrated
*No pain, numbness or unusual sensations other than balance...
Oops, I just remembered that I banged my elbow on the doorframe 20 minutes ago throwing out a pan of water after cleaning. I didn't want it in my sink.
🕵🏼‍♀️

Health Coach hat on.....
My body might be flooded with endorphins/natural pain killers from the impact on the corner of the frame.
Good reason to not overreact, but careful so I don't fall.
I'm listing my self exam so anyone else who reads this might benefit.
1. DEHydration is first suspect because it would be most common in the population.
Ruled out
2. Second is mold because I meant to take out the compost container the other day and forgot.
List of what to do right after lunch.
3. Third is most likely.
Self diagnostics today worth more than ten thousand dollars of tests at the local hospitals.
I thank the great Physician for understanding. He deserves all the credit.
It truly is a good day!
Hey, Peter Osbourne just notified me that he's starting class! Perfect timing. I'll run this past him.
