Though I'm not necessarily arguing for it, neither of these points proscribe the Nuweiba route. The water need only be ten feet deep or less for the army to drown, and "congealed" is location-irrelevant.

I agree with that. The letter of the law or the bible as death is the temporal seen that reveals our hopelessness.The parables as a source of faith take the literal understanding and convert it into a law of faith. the unseen spirit of the law.

Wheels usually represents moving . Four wheels universal, bringing the gospel, north, south, east and west.Like that of eagles wings. Metaphors used in parables can be used to represent evil or a blessing, as good.
Eagles a unclean bird can be used both way .One to represent the dead as those who devour flesh and blood . or like with wings of a eagle, like the apostles feet they can be used to bring the blessing. Wheels are used in the same way.

Sure it is a parable. Without parables Christ spoke not prophecy. Hiding the unseen gospel understanding from the lost revealing it to those who do walk by faith, the unseen eternal .
God does not give parables to understand moral laws like the sabbath shadow . They are used in ceremonial laws laws that come long side of the literal historical.
