Saved by faith through grace claims that faith is there to get to salvation if we find grace and pass through it. Looked at it this way, we can see how much the Calvinist's GPS will keep you circling around wondering where you are.
And throwing the city of works in there before reaching Salvation risks driving full speed ahead further and further away from it.
Salvation is there (in Christ), by grace through faith, and not of works. Once you get in Christ, you are then equipped, geared up even, for good works.
