I'm aware that I joined the site almost a month ago and have neglected to write an intro until now. Better late than never, right?
You can call me "Catlessi", it means Mother of Cats. I have two rescues, a calico and a siamese. The light of my life is my pre-teen son who keeps me on my toes constantly. I'm 32 years old and a single mom, my son's father passed away in Nov. 2017 in an accident. I've been in and out of churches since I was young, needless to say, I haven't found my home church yet. I do enjoy fellowship with like-minded individuals and having Christ-centered discussions. I'm alone here in NH due to a foolish mistake I made. (I relocated here for a relationship with a man I was unequally yoked with.) I work as a paraeducator at a local elementary school. I work with children from low-income families that have experienced a level of trauma in their lives, whether it came from abuse, drug-addicted family, homelessness, etc. It's a challenging job but it's rewarding. I'm also attending college to receive my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in order to obtain my teaching license. My dream is to teach 4th or 5th grade, whether it's in public school, private school, or Christian school.
