sex before marriage?

sex b4 marriage

well i also voted no to sex before marriage, for alot of reasons( unwanted preg, disease, ect.) however i dont belive its stated anywhere in the word of God that sex before marriage is a sin. The only refferance to sinful sex is adultrly, and you cannot commit adultry if you are not in a monogamass relationship. Thou shalt not commit adultry, one of ten commandments. which was written in old testiment, before Jesus died for our sins, which he then left his own commandments for man after that. Have a great day

Oh so I guess we just disregard what Paul said than?
1 Cointhians 6:9-11 (KJV)

9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Fornication = Sexual intercourse between partners who are not married to each other.

I think that is quite clear about sex before marriage, is it not?

You say that there are no law against fornication, i hope the above quote helps you.

Genesis 2:24
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Lastly though u say thou shalt commit adultery is one of the ten commandments, whcih was writeen in th old testtement. This is true it was in the old testement and commiting adultry is against one of the ten commandments. But are you trying to say that the ten commandments are no longer valid. You do realise that not EVERYTHING in the new testement over writes that which is in the old testement.

Well, I believe that sex before marriage is wrong, and that it is here to test our loyalty towards the scripts.

But a proof that it is very tempting must be the fact, that in Denmark the average age of losing ones virginity is around 15-16.
 
Christians are supposed to be separate from the world. This is one of the things where we are supposed to differ "from the rest." If we just do what "the rest" do, then we're just like all the rest......................

Actually, by the time teens graduate from high school, most of them are no longer virgins - Christians included. I don't remember where the statistic came from - I believe it came from Focus on the Family.

i like ur answer. :] we are 2 hate the world. sounds raw but thats how jesus put it. i dont mean hate the people but hate sin and the things represented on this earth like material things, adultery, homosexuality, etc. we are called 2 be the opposite of this world. one perfect example : Love thy enemy. Go the second mile! We as Christians need 2 show the world that we are not only good ppl, because homosexuals or strippers or ANYONE can be good ppl. we were called 2 be like christ! so we must wait till after marriage. Because we can not be like the world and because the WORD said it. :] AMEN? Im single. only 19. and it is hard 4 me 2 stay pure because of my past but i know i can do it. :D
 
No. If we want to follow God's will, we shouldn't have sex before marriage. Bible tells us in many ways.
 
Sex before marriage is okay now. Since we can not lose our salvation, then why not do what we want?

David, i have noticed your increasing posts, on many threads. Your sarcasim is not needed.
I belive that a person, who is truely saved, that commits suicide, can and will go to heven.
Now, as we are discussing it here, i will just reply to ur pm here...if thats okaii.

A true Christian, will NEVER walk away from God, a true, born again christian, is BORN AGAIN! and will never return to the way they once were.
A 'Christian' who claims to be saved, but isnt really...might or probabley will turn from God.

You ask why then, why pray and read the bible etc etc...if you cant lose your salvation?

My answer:
A true born again beliver will WANT to pray and WANT to read the bible...
Once a person realises that our Lord God, my Father, send his only begotten Son to die for us... one a person relaises that Jesus Christ , my saviour, died for us..they would never ever turn away from the Lord, their eyes would become open...
People, whos eyes are open, want to see everything...just like we want to do everything for our saviour, we want to have a relationship with him...and we want to be close to him.

you also ask in your pm - why not murder..theive...kill babies if you cant lose your salvation?

my answer is simple:
As a Christian, you try and resist temptation..you try your best not to sin.
As a Christian, you know it is wrong to murder...theive...kill babies...
even a non-christian person knows that!

Your questions are just silly - i dont get whats got into you , to be honest!

I do, however - belive that it is wrong to commit suicide...
but i also belive that no sane human, will want to end their lives...its basic human instinct - survival!
only people with mental problems or illnesses really want to end heir lives...

Just because you can't loose your salvation doesn't mean you get a free Jesus pass to do whatever you want. Frankly, you're rejecting all the teachings of Christ when you say that (except the one where you dont go to hell- how convienient.) Being a Christian isn't just saying the right words out loud to avoid firey condemnation, it means having a relationship with God- and you can't if your additude is that way. You're just another selfish human being. Surprise, surprise.
 
The bible is very clear on this subject so I say it's no okay to do it.

I am not perfect I have made mistakes before I was saved but I am saved now, you will not feel peaceful after you do it God bless
