no but i am sayin dont let it go too far...come on guys we all know when its gettin outta hand ..just dont let it. stop it before it happens...thats all
Ohh, Okay. and I agree with you on that. My cousin and his girlfriend have an interesting agreement. If it one of them "gets out of hand" than they will seriously discuss breaking up. They both want to save everything for marriage, and they know that emotions can get out of wack, so that is there way of keeping them in tact.

wow I applaud them for that, very mature i must say:)

Not ready for what? A relationship? or those rules in place? or aomething totally different than what I'm guessing?

lol I'm worried about a lot of things. How to raise kids in this world, how to grow in faith with a wife and not get kicked out of the house, how to dash my hopes of idealism, how to... well, lots of things! So I'm pretty sure I'm not ready yet. Only problem is, I have to wait until I'm told how to be "ready." How to be patient? lol

ohh I think everyone is worried about those things. As long as we put our trust in God, we will succeed. it will be tough, but we will make it.

or God would send that person in your direction :) I've been praying for years that God would send the right christian girl my way. Just pray about it.

You're only 3 years away! When you get here, you may very well say the same thing lol ;) It's like a brick just dropped on your head and you realized you've hit the quarter mark. lol

So here's my personal feelings, take them or leave them. I have been ring shopping with one girlfriend, so I've had fairly long-term and committed relationships, and it was not hard for me to avoid sex, as we set before the relationship that would not be something we would do until marriage. Setting those boundaries before a relationship starts is huge, in my opinion. I've also never had an "open-mouth" kiss, and I plan not to until I am married. I have held hands with one woman (in a relationship manner) in my lifetime. The boundaries set before a relationship will allow that relationship to progress as fast or slow as the two of you had set beforehand, and it will always give you something to refer to when the "heat of the moment" threatens to take over.

That said, I'm a very physically affectionate person, and I enjoy cuddling up, even with friends, and that act really has no sexual meaning to me. Likewise, I give backrubs and massages without having any sexual motivation behind them. I give what are referred to by friends as "Big Ben hugs", which are quite a bit more involved than the average hug! I do always make sure that a dating partner (or new female friend) understands my boundaries, and I ask if they are uncomfortable with them. One girlfriend wasn't comfortable with backrubs as they brought a different level of touch that she wasn't comfortable with, and that was fine by me.

Like I said, set the boundaries early in your relationship before you end up trying to pull the zipper back up in a moment of passion, and you'll be surprised how easy it is to keep things simmering well until the day you put a ring on and allow them to boil over! :)
