sex b4 marriage

This is well said though. Sex can in fact make or break a relationship. If not married it can certainly break a relationship as I'm proof of that one on at least four different occassions. It can lead to many MANY problems.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God

Fornication is having sex outside of marriage. I also point out that fornication is first on the list and
adultery is third.

If God approves of fornication, why are those committing fornication banned from heaven?
 
i believe that you should be friends first and get to know each other, dating is all about finding that special person for you. so to me sex isn't everything or really that important, the other stuff is like finding your one true love or soul mate,somebody that is compatable with you,like a best friend. having a woman who is like my best friend would be perfect for me. this gives you time to build a relationship based on love,communication,respect,to be open to our feelings and thoughts,to support eachother. a relationship based on sex is not healthy wrong feelings of love come from this when it could be lust. i don't beleive in sex unless it is very serious like very advanced in the relationship. there is way more to a person then outer beauty and sex, the far more important stuff so in conclusion you should wait as long as possible to build a healthy strong relationship based on what is important.
 
sex before marriage can make u feel emotional hurt if someone whom u slept with dumps u.and can cause u a heartache.if u abstain from sexual activities it makes u to hav what it takes to reach ur goals and u wil be hournoring GOD BY UR BODY AS UR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The bible is quite clear on this. Not trying to get into detail or anything, but it is a "BLOOD" comitment. It is the true uniting of two souls as one. I personally am glad that even though I have screwed up BIG time, that I never gave away my virginity. I will be happy to turn to my wife on our wedding night and tell her I saved this all for her! :)
 
I am a Christian and I am not a virgin. I do not want to get in relationships with men who do not understand how important it is for me to wait until marriage to have sex.

I have always wondered if dating, kissing, hugging, and cuddling is something that's unacceptable in the Bible? I don't mean kissing and hugging as a greeting - I mean it as it is seen today in western society.

Well I actually have wondered this to myself. I believe that if you are just effectionatly kissing, but no further I would say that would be acceptable. But I think when all of a sudden it is getting more physical, that it isn't acceptable. Although this is just my opinion, so what does it mean?
 
See, there's the other problem that I have - where does it start becoming 'technical?' Because I get the feeling that God isn't going to say, "Well, technically you didn't do this or that. Ok, welcome to Heaven."

I did and I always get the uncomfortable feeling that it isn't "right." But then, how would one get a girlfriend? I'm sure even Christian girls wouldn't simply decide to marry you without at least one date!

Funny you brought that up. My brother is in school in Florida, and one of the older couples that work at the school, he just went up to his future wife and asked her to marry him without a date or anything, lol. But I don't think thrat happens in many cases.
 
Oooh, that would be ideal and sounds kinda romantic that they know each other that well!
 
no but i am sayin dont let it go too far...come on guys we all know when its gettin outta hand ..just dont let it. stop it before it happens...thats all
