For anyone who can't make it tonight or is panicking over missing out, please don't worry. :)

Tonight will basically just be a trial run and hopefully we'll be able to figure out how to get everyone there the next time.

With so many people and so many time zones going on, I'm hoping we can have this on somewhat regular basis, regardless of who's able to show or not.

It can pretty much happen ANY time and with ANY one... All a couple of people need to do is show up to start talking, and voila! :)
 
Difficult to stay up in the middle of the night when I have work tomorrow morning... but I'll see if I can join in quietly. (Oh. It is way past bedtime. Feeling really naughty by staying up so late ;-) )
 
IDK, 5:00 is prime time for me to come home from work and sit on my butt. You guys are really asking a lot here.
 
Anybody who was a forum member back when all the chat rooms were available for free is grandfathered in, which means you can access singles chat. If there are a lot of people who joined after the change who want to join chat, we could always commandeer the lounge or Bible study room.
 
Actually the more I think about it the better Skype sounds. I could hang out in the lounge and anybody who wants to join singles chat on Skype could pop in and shoot me a private message with your Skype address.

I agree. Skype sounds better. It is not right to crash another room, where they are seriously discussing where to get the best coffee ;-)
 
I know there's a way we can have a Skype group where we talk whenever we wanna talk. We could do that too.
 
Hey everyone,

Lynx and I were talking and we're going to stick with the CC chat room. We'll both hover between the Lounge and Singles to check for people coming in whenever we are there (Lynx will be there ahead of me), or anyone else is welcome to go in and "set up camp" before either of us can make it.

I know some people might feel left out, especially because of the subscription, but Lynx and I agree that it's important to show support for this site. After all, CC is what made it possible for us all to start talking in the first place.

If any of us owned a McDonald's, we wouldn't want people to meet there and then all talk about how they're going to go to Wendy's instead.

Therefore, we're going to stick with the original plan to try to meet each other in CC chat, either in The Lounge or in Singles. If we do wind up in The Lounge, we'll just have to be polite and work with whatever is going on there.

If we do find some sort of regular groove here, we'll let you know. I know the subscription cost might be a bit of a barrier for some people, but the Bible says the laborer is worth his wages and it only seems right that we show some love to CC for all the work that's put into this site.

I will be there but have only once tried to chat about a year ago and it was an epic fail. I have since become a subscriber so maybe this time will work. :)

And we will try to help you through chat however much we can.

Same goes with everyone else too, except when it comes to working with apps on phones!

I can't help with that one, but I'm sure some others can.
 
I would love to join everyone here on this, it sounds really fun.

Unfortunately I have to *generic excuse* later tonight. :)
