Do people really get banned then come back as someone else

I just want to know...or do they use multiple accounts? A sign of addiction? Aside from drunk posting on CC...

Could I come back as Lanonline?

since I am on here so much lol

I am the BLT super-special that lurks patiently outside your weight-loss gym.
I am the new toilet roll that you discover - too late - is missing from its holder.
I am the cinema-patron seated behind you who loudly ruffles his popcorn during the scenes with important dialogue.
I am the dog-walker who explains to his canine that your front yard is really just one large bathroom for pets.
I am the missing capital letter in your third and final attempt at remembering your bank password.

You are also apparently a Darkwing Duck fan...

Few of the regulars could do with a holiday from CC....

Also multiple accounts 😂

It may be a sign you're addicted to CC if you're trying to get ready for work and read/answer posts at the same time... and you find yourself wearing your work shirt with your blue satin pajama pants.

And then almost leave the house that way.

Not that I would know from experience, of course. :)

How about you?

Oh man. It's always interesting to see which threads are resurrected.

Apparently I wrote this thread in 2009, and the thing that really stands out to me is that I totally remember that pair of JCPenney blue satin pajama pants.

They were flannel-lined and the most comfy, cozy pair I've ever owned. I kept them until they literally fell to shreds, and I've never found a (reasonably-priced) pair that's been nearly as good!

Are you trying to get me banned 🤣😂 Im sure we can all name a few 😎😇

Lynx and Lanolin pack your bags. You win a trip to IRL island. ✈🏝 😂
With the cold front that is even now bearing down on Tennessee? No thank you! I'm staying here even if the hot cocoa runs out.

Staying put seems to be the order of the day.

Sorry Narrow Path. You'll have to satisfy your matchmaking urge with someone else.

If you have any Amish or Menninites in your area, talk to them.

You are definitely addicted to CC if you have posted to the same thread in different decades.
You are hopelessly addicted if you go back to the beginning and read every post.

The bolded-italicised words made me laugh. ;-)

Heh.

I've often said that for a certain branch of my family tree, saving money is like an Olympic sport. Our conversations often revolve around the latest wheels and deals we've managed to stack, even if it's just for a couple of jars of spaghetti sauce (buy one free, with a coupon, on a cashback card, plus earning reward points for a discount at their gas station!) It's like a family past time.

Sure, I can find satin, flannel-lined pajama pants. But the REAL question is, can I get them at a decent price.

One of the GREAT things about the original blue pair I was yammering about is that I had gotten them at JCPenney, on sale, with a coupon, purchased on a cashback credit card so I'd get something like 2% back (after I pay the card in full so there's no interest.) :D

THAT is the real challenge I've found over the years. Sure, I could find other pairs, but at 2 and 3 X the price.

These days, when I'm at home, I just rely on a $9 pair of Walmart sweats.

No special sales or deals, but if I use my Walmart credit card and order them online, I still get 5% cash back. :geek:

And that's going to be MY contribution to the Christmas dinner conversation this year.

Don't say didn't give an advance warning.

I think I know the feeling. For me, a good product is one thing - but to get it at a reasonable price (like, for what I believe it should be, which is usually a third or less of what it might typically sell for) - that makes it 5 or 10 times better. ;-)
