The Ladies Forum is usually emotional issues women deal with regarding marriage, engagement, children, age, hair care, makeup, cramps, menopause, style of dress, baby showers, toiletries.... ya know, the things most men get comatose listening to when their wives talk about it to them. Believe me, you'd get so bored in there, your eyes would glaze over & you wouldn't even remember what you read.

Not necessarily, He could be divorced, widowered, or an uncle or close family friend giving someone a break from the kids. Years ago I rented a room from a married couple that I was close to and routinely I would take one or both of their kids with me on errands just to give her a bit of a break.
I had to chuckle when I read this. RoboOp created the Ladies Forum at the prodding of his wife and it is truly 100% inaccessible to male users since not even the male Mods or Admin can access it. He told me once that he happened to look over his wife's shoulder while she was reading a thread about feminine hygiene products and decided that that brief glimpse was all he ever wanted to have of the Ladies Forum.

I never even heard of Stration before, but now I don't wanna even chance finding out, that sounds like it could be any one of the things lady AuntieAnt mention lol.

Origin of the Word Menopause
“Menopausis” is one of those terms which is actually a Greek term but was translated into medical Latin. The Ancient Greek roots of the term menopause are: “men” + “pauein.” The word “men” means month which is closely related to word for moon “mene” because the months were measured by the moon. The word “pauein” means to cause to cease or stop.

I suppose it depends on the type of "baggage" you're referencing. As a single woman who has talked with a lot of single women about men, I don't find this blanket "avoid men with baggage" advice. It might be true of a never-married woman who's say, 22. Women might advise her to NOT marry a divorced man, for example, or someone who has children with a woman he never married. However, this same advice is almost never given to a woman who is say 30 and never-married.
Generally speaking, it's probably a good idea for women to avoid men who have control and anger issues, as that combination usually rears it's ugly head in the form of abuse. But if a man had a "messy" past (like was divorced with kids and a slightly crazy ex), then it's really more a matter of what that individual woman can handle. Some people don't mind a goodly amount of drama and seem to do alright with it. For others, the constant drama would prove detrimental to them...so it's a judgement call.
In my experience, I've observed lots of women pointing out to other women that they have baggage themselves. Really, it's a matter of compatibility and grace.

Don't see how that is bagage. I don't want a guy with bagage since it's utterly stupid to carry bagage that Jesus already did away. I once was in a service and I was so depressed, it was so hard. The preacher saw a horse who tried to get through the snow, but it couldn't go forward because of the huge carriage behind it overloaded with heavy stuff. I thought: hey that's me! No wonder I don't go forward hahahahahahaha.He prayed for me and the bagage was gone. Lovely!
I used to look for guys who were also divorced twice, well look, those were the only ones that showed interest anyway when they read my story on my dating site profile. I thought: why not immediately dump it here so I don't have to tell the same thing 10 times and then hear: ehm no thanks. But I thought: that's nice, you understand each other, but instead of that I only heard how awful their exes had been to them. Ended up trying to get one back to his ex. Oh my goodness. No, I like a life without bagage.
Yeesh, you come here looking for advice as a single guy, instead you get a bunch of girl woes. Almost all ready tired of it.
I have a feeling that AAAPlus's advice is going to be to just avoid girls entirely...
