I find in some of these forums and comments, some harsh words said to one another and some behavior that seems to oppose what the very title of this site is about. Wait now, put down away those daggars. I am not a pious hypocrite, truly. I like to goof off as much as the next gal, but I just noticed sometimes we are quite unkind and disrespectful in some of the forums and wondered if you all noticed it as well?

Well, if you find it harsh here in the Singles Forum, I’d hate for you to walk into the Bible Discussion Forum...... 😳😂

But to answer your question, yes I have noticed it.
 
Amen to that sister... it's a really big problem in our forums here. The only thing I know to do is to be more aggressive about banning people for unfriendly posts, personal attacks, etc. The thing is it's not always all that straightforward... both parties attacking each other and it goes back to previous posts/threads....

I have noticed it there as well. Sad commentary, in my humble opinion, and it represents the site and Christians, and most importantly our God poorly. Shame on us!!

Yes, it tends to happen occasionally, particularly in the Bible Discussion Forum where a few of the members are opinionated. The Singles Forum is more laid back and usually a friendly safe place to be.

Hey Boss Brother, I can imagine it would be frustrating on your end. I understand you want it to be an open forum, with minimal censorship, where folks are free to speak their minds, but also you want to maintain the integrity of your site and of your Faith.

Here is a suggestion, but just that, merely an idea...I suggest that other members speak up more, calling them out, with respect of course, or perhaps, you could address us all in a thread or email like you do for with you donation emails. Might I suggest, you address the topic as more of a question or concern, asking how others think it should be handled. Let everyone know, banning members for questionable behavior is a tricky bridge traveled, that it is definitely is not your preferred method of dealing with the sometimes quite unkind and harsh dialogue here. I think it is a great question to ask, not only to perhaps find solution, but to also find out how other members who witness it are responding to the negative exchanges going on here. I don't know but I can imagine it presents quite a challenge. I do want to say...I find many threads pleasing to read and engage in. Overall, your site is a blessing to me and my walk with Christ. Thank you Robo, sincerely. God Bless you and yours, boss brother (I hope that the way I address you isn't offensive).

I agree, it is a friendly and safe place in this forum, for the most part. I was just looking around and was like :O!!! So it got me to wondering what other members think. I also hear what you are saying, folks are viscerely and emotionally attached to their opinions and get a bit riled up. I just think it can be a conflict of interest to our Christian walk, but hey, I fall short plenty myself. I am just curious, more than anything. Praise the Lord we can always scroll on or walk away.

Totally agree.
 
Anywhere you have people you're gonna have some rudness, jealously, bullying etc.... cause people are fleshly. That's no excuse for it though. My thinking is along the same lines as Sweetmorningdew... I just don't fight back.

We gotta choose what i's worth fighting for and let the rest be water off a ducks back. It's harder to do though if it's someone else being picked on and you want to stand up for them.

Yes when peeps come under attack, the flesh in me becomes a mighty riled.
