I'm really not married becuz im single!:D
hello?im still young to get married..:p

Because, despite what my birth date will tell you, I still feel like I'm 16 at heart. And 16 is too young to be married.

So deal with it.

^ Haha, glad it's not only me. :)

When I was about 17 and 18 (this was before I had even started dating), an old Jewish woman my mom knew from the grocery store would ask me every now and then "so when are you getting married??" "can I come to the wedding?" lol I didn't ever know what to say that. :p

When people ask me that. my straight answer is that im just waiting on God to introduce me to the woman that He already chose for me...

Do people ever say great stuff about you then ask, "So...why are you not married?"

Makes me feel as if I'm under a microscope or something.

Do people really think we don't sometimes ask ourselves the same question?

How do you react to this?

I would usually over react and say because all girls hate me and I make a big joke out of it. But now I would just say Christ as yet to lead me to that special girl and that girl is yet to be lead to me.

Firstly, I have never been married, nor have kids.

I have been asked that several times in the past couple years. I find that it takes courage to talk about something like that sometimes. Cuz if you are anything like me, when the "need" for companionship arises, it's really easy to get onto the "I want to be with someone now" thing.

I am a firm believer in this.... until I am ready to be married, then I have no reason to date. I believe in courtship. And until I take care of what God wants me to take care of then I am simply off the market, so to speak.

I try to keep all sorts of things in mind like so when talking with single women, cuz sometimes its easy for me to walk astray and wonder what could be. But as long as I keep whats true in my heart alive and in the forefront of my mind, then its easier to stand fast and talk.

The only problem, for me, in not being in a relationship, is because most of my friends, here in Wyoming, are guys.
So, the problem with that, is because my girl friends think I've got them all on a string. *bleh* And they assume I'm "going out" with all of them.
And the guys, 1. I couldn't stand picking ONE out of all of them 2. I've known most of them since early childhood, and we've been through all of our "awkward stages" together, I'd be remembering all of those awkward moments if ever I were in a relationship with one. And 3. I have a serious problem with REALLY trusting a guy enough to be more than a friend.

I don't think I've ever been asked this question, though I figure I'm still pretty young.

When I was a little younger, up until I graduated, my extended family would always ask me why i wasn't dating, and say "oh I'm sure your just hiding him from us" and other junk like that. I would always tell them I didn't see any point in dating in high school as most times it doesn't last so I didn't see the point. They did this up until a couple years ago. Now they've start cracking crude jokes about maybe me not liking boys, or having to go out of country to find someone (my extended family is obviously unsaved). Its tough being the youngest and only unmarried cousin, everyone looks at you like your some kind of fluke.

I found before easier, and almost wish they would ask me why I'm not dating rather then insinuating terrible things about how I live my life and making me feel like a reject.

Just have to be strong in Christ and remember its all in His timing and not mine, and to pray for my family to be saved and see the consequences of their words.

I'm sure you aren't as bad as you are letting on. Believe me I've run into some really hard to live with females. I doubt you are anywhere near as bad.
