Lol. That's adorable Blain. I have a notice board in my room with nothing but my "resistance verses". Whenever I wake up or whenever I feel like I'm being attacked by depression again, I come running to my room for life's sake and start reading these bible verses again, remembering how God has already healed me. It was a desperate measure to get my faith back. Faith comes by hearing, and I'm easily distracted so to have His Word right in my face, works for me.

Haha I dunno why, but these things generally revolve around the eyes and hands :p
 
I don't have a logical explanation for this but I recently found out that sucking on a tootsie pop or sucker will keep you awake if you are really, really sleepy and need to stay awake.

So I do that from time to time at work... Which, I think its weird for a grown man to suck on a tootsie pop...
 
I chew on the inside of my mouth...I can't sleep with my closet door open....I won't allow the volume to be on certain numbers, if it is it bugs me and I change it or ask someone else to change it.
 
Qtip my ears when I know they're already clean because it feels good and makes my toes curl up
 
- I have to Qtip my ears every time I get out of the shower
- I put lotion on my feet every night when I get in bed
- When I pump gas, I have to stop at 0 or 5
- I have to clean my dishes before I load into the dishwasher
 
I sometimes put closed-captions on shows and movies.

I can still watch a movie or a show without captions with no difficulty.
 
I like white noise when I sleep- right now its the ceiling fan. I can fall asleep without it, but it's like sleeping without a blanket. Or eating oatmeal without sugar. Or a peanut butter sandwich with no banana. Or... jk :D

I also heard this story once about a girl who was a tutor. One of her students really wanted to spend the night, and she relented. So he slept on the floor beside her bed and in the middle of the night, he woke her up and insisted on going out to eat something. When they got outside, he said, "I hate to tell you this, but there's a homeless man underneath your bed."
Ok, there's a lot of things about this story that are way off. But I still check under my bed nearly every night. Lol
... even before I heard this story, whether or not I checked under my bed, I often imagined a person just shanking me all the way through the mattress. Lol

--I'm not anxious about this, don't get me wrong. I just like to know that someone isn't hiding underneath my bed. :D

When I brush my teeth, I make these crazy facial expressions.

I didn't know until a friend pointed it out.....
 
I turn my remotes face down when not in use, thus eliminating dusting between those tiny buttons :p
 
I used to fold my comforter in half like a blanket taco and sometimes roll up in it like a blanket taquito
 
When I'm on a car ride, I always like to watch the driver's eyes in the rear-view mirror. Just something about the way a person's eyes look while they're focused on the road.
 
I eat my pizza with a fork. :D

I too clean out my ears with a qtip after every shower :D

I also like to watch TV with close captioning. I've discovered that it comes in handy when you didn't quite catch what they said. :D

Also
I have to sleep with a blanket on. Even if it's super hot, I feel the need to be covered.

Kinda like the above, if I miss or cannot understand something said in a movie, I rewind it to understand. This is really a bad habit of mine and sometimes it takes me way longer to finish a movie because I end up rewinding too much!

I tuck my little chihuahua in her bed every night. LOL I've just grown very attached to her (she's almost 10 years old) and she loves me. So I try to make sure she's comfortable at night and I cover her little body. She gets cold easily :P
 
we made our van into a man/woman cave for comfort and solace and practicality.....

our vehicle=extra hand, is an extention of our home.
for us, we have made our vehicle into a zone of comfort.....being able to stretch-out and relieve pain is priority....
lots of pillows and support and a place for just about everything we could ever need in any emergency.....
