Awww dang! Yer' so lucky! I never get proposals from Nigerian men (or women) for that matter. LOL Some people have all the luck. lol Wait...er...what was that I read about cupcakes????? nom nom nom :)
 
Hey guys, how are you all?
I had a crazy weekend- my sister's (ex) father in law died on Thursday so yesterday was the funeral.
Then I had to work yesterday which is strange for me because I never have to work weekends.
Also had to attend my sister's boyfriend's concert which didn't end till 12:00 am.

Congrats on the proposal pipp!! :p

Sorry about the negative image my country people have created it saddens my heart and am ashame of it but thanks be to God who will vindicate me also I believe in a basket full of bad eggs there are are good eggs too.
I know there are few nigerians who who have a heart for God and are passionate about it.am even bless for them allowing we me a nigerian on the site .lord thank you for my life .

Please forgive me...that was insensitive of me. I don't by any means think less of a person because of where they're from.... I was simply joking about someone I don't know suggesting we get married... He just so happen to be from Nigeria. Praise God for anyone trying to serve God no matter where they are from. Sorry again brother.

I don't think it was insensitive, Pipp. You didn't say that everyone from Nigeria was a bad egg, and I know you don't think that way. I was just touched by what Ineme said, and wanted her to feel welcome.

It's kind of funny, because it doesn't make as interesting of a story to say that you met a wonderful Christian brother or sister, as it does to say that some random loon proposed to you. People tend to talk about the things that stand out, you know?
 
what a tiring weekend!

i wanted to share a few photos from my hiking exploits yesterday. while there are several lovely trails in this area, this spot is more known for the natural hot springs.

or, as i prefer to call it, "home of the hippie soup".
