We have the Master Weder living in us...big difference. If you are employed as a welder and your employer wants a perfect bead, you telll them you are not perfect and are not even going to try, but you still expect your full wages at the end of the week. Are you going to get your full wages or the boot?
Did you read and understand what was said? The worthless servant buried his talent of gold. Gold is our faith in the Word. We all receive faith as a gift when we come to Jesus Christ. If your faith is buried it cannot lead you to grace, nor will you be a productive servant. Now, if you feel convicted because of these truths from the Word, that is you.
Also, now you are saying you have works? Are you not doing the same as I? Your works should include obeying Jesus Christ, right? Why then tell me I am trying to earn my salvation, when I have confessed that I am saved by the Blood of the Lamb of God, my Lord, and yours I hope, Jesus Christ.
Make up your mind. Does faith produce good works? Is obeying Jesus Christ not good works? Please tell me one way or another. I have shared and bared all with everyone here, so why not you?

I have unlocked and relocked some.
Faith is a gift from God.
Faith leads to grace.
It is in the Book.
Thank you Brother Don.
A few days ago I gave everyone permission to go off the OP because they were doing it anyway. As long as folks are discussing the Word, the thread is still valuable to all I believe. I know your posts have been edifying and uplifting,; I thank you for you participation especially.
no fear here

your post had originally said "faith leads to grace". (see post 758).Rom 5:2
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Do you understand Paul is teaching our faith accesses grace. How can we have grace without faith. Faith is always first, accessing grace.
Please stop picking at what others post without understanding what is said. It is not correct in the sight of the Father.
Good bye..

Let us talk about the model of who a christian is. Is he a robot, who has bad control ability, and must continually make sure the Spirit guides him, nothing can be done because the believer thinks it is a good idea that is earning salvation?
Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
Matt 18:19
This is called empowerment.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven
Matt 16:19
This is called authority.
God empowers us to do things as part of the Kingdom, because we are new creations.
Have you ever sat back and let God love through you like a possessed doll, or is it you loving empowered by God?
The model I see here is children of the Kingdom exercising what has been written on their hearts as members of the Kingdom. They are not earning anything by action, they are doing because they are part of Jesus's people. My impression is you guys feel this idea is so alien to your experience it cannot be right. But this is not a problem of theology it is a problem of your experience.
Just a reminder in keeping with my previous post.
When we bury our faith, we cannot access anything.

Faith lays hold of the grace that is already there.
